I have a 27inch 1080 Insignia monitor. SO this monitor is a huge upgrade for me even if this has flaws haha
Hi Los, I do need some advice about watching 1080p videos on 1440p monitors that no one is talking about !
Tried some high-spec 1440p models but all of them were blurry, shockingly worse than 1080p native monitors while playing 1080p videos.
Then I unfortunately learned that the scaler won't be able to precisely transpose the 1080p image onto the 1440p screen. Meaning, blur and other visual artifacts make the video look substantially worse than 1080p native monitors and it's not related with bitrate or compression etc.
Mainly watching 1080p shows, movies (not streaming on youtube/Netflix etc) and have a huge archive... Tried 4K monitors/TVs with 1080p videos and they look just fine, equal to 1080p native ! 4K is exactly four times 1080p resolution; this means that for every pixel in 1080p, there are four pixels in 2160p, so you just make each pixel four times bigger. Looks exactly like a 1080p display.
I want to upgrade to 2K for games, web & work but "to watch 1080p videos blurry with artifacts" is holding me back.
4K is hard to drive and it's expensive but definitely clearer than 1440p !
- Should I skip 1440p & invest in 4K monitors ? Can you do a video about the elephant in the room ?
Olá, este monitor não tem saída audio p2. Para ligar um xbox series X (que não tem saída audio optico), alguém sabe uma maneira de extrair audio para caixas de som através das portas usb? grato pela atenção quem reponder.
Can u review the benq mobiuz ex2150
I’d be interested to see the next clarity on this monitor. I’m trying to find a good monitor for gaming that will also be used for work and coding. I currently have a 24 inch 1080p monitor and need some more text clarity.
I just bought one and I’m coming from a 1080p 24, I know online they say the text clarity is slightly less than others , but for me it’s still a massive upgrade. Only issue I have Is dead pixels, so dell are replacing mine ..
@@aviownzlol I appreciate your feedback. I work with a lot of data and write a lot of code in my day-to-day life. I currently have a MSI G24C4 which doesn’t have the best clarity to begin with.

I have this monitor and I think its pretty good. HDR is unusable in desktop, the non highlighted areas become very blurry (but at least the tone mapping is good) The first panel came with a stuck pixel and they didn’t want it back so I got two for 1 lol.
Have you tryed using the apps to get rid of a stuck pixel?

AW uses LG panel. And it’s the newer version of the panel the 850 uses. FYI
I saw you are carrying glasses. Do you have eye strain, sir ? Which color profile you are using, I meant contrast and balance, sir .Thank you.
Hows the text quality?
Hi is it configured for a ps5 ?
Was hoping there'd be information on calibration and accuracy of the out of box profiles. Sigh. Guess I'll wait for rtings
Same. How can you do a review without this?
I’m returning this product, I have the s2723dgf and to be honest, the aw has worse color calibration than the dgf. Also, apps and text are kinda blurry for some reason. I don’t know if that’s my screen but yeah, I’m returning this product.

On the website it says the hdmi port is 2.1 not 2.0
I’m confused what to believe now?
Exactly bro i don’t understand

It said HDMI 2.1 in amazon description can u clarify?

Does one need screws to put it together
I bought the monitor, but still feeling that the HDR on loses some of the vivid colors compared with the SDR. Anyone feel the same, or has a way to fix it?
There's a Custom Color HDR mode that lets you increase contrast and saturation
hdr isn't the same as more vibrant/vivid colors, it's just more accurate, which generally feels slightly more muted in colors
what is the name of the keyboard? 😮
Hello guys, I'll be getting this monitor next week, anyone knows if it is "safe" to leave it always at 180hz? I know NOTHING about monitors overclock...
its fine as long as you don't see any wired visual defects when using it for the first time just leave it on 180hz but sometimes you just get a bad panel if this happens just send it back and get a new one on warranty. it most likely wont though, they have pretty good quality control.
If you have an employer that has the 20% Dell discount for employees, this monitor is absolutely the one I'm getting. I'm even stepping down from 32" for it!
This monitor or odyssey g6?
Hello, this monitor does not have p2 audio output. To connect an xbox series X (which doesn't have optical audio output), does anyone know a way to extract audio to speakers through the usb ports? grateful for the attention who responds.
Unfortunately I don’t think there is any way to get audio out to speakers with consoles as these usb ports don’t support audio pass through or audio return :/
Headphones are your only choice with consoles, on PC I use an external DAC and to get uncompressed audio
I'm interested on either this monitor or the Dell 2724d for ps5 1440p 120hz vrr support. I asked Dell if the USB supports audio passthrough to hook an adapter through USB, they said it does. Are you are you tried and it doesn't work?
@@sIayerzif you can get this monitor at a good discount definitely get it over the Dell 2724D, I bought it and the HDR is amazing, probably has the best HDR then any other 1440p IPS panel that exist with exceptions of those more expensive mini led monitors.
Hello, I asked Dell the same question, he told me that I can extract sound from the monitor's USB port if the monitor is also connected to a computer via an upstream cable, it seems that it doesn't work in HDMI mode to use my Xbox series, I only use speakers, so I didn't purchase the monitor to test, thank you for your attention
On the Dell website it says it's HDMI 2.1 but in the video you said HDMI 2.0?
Must have been a mistake. It definitely is 2.1

From RTINGS the response time is better on the G27 and the Text Clarity.
Is it worth paying an extra 100$ to get another 15hz and better HDR quality ?
Thanks !
The Brightness is also better on the Alienware. AW is 600cd compared to 400cd on the Dell.
Isn’t the response time on both the same at 1ms?

So after a lot of thoughts I bought the Dell G2724D. I saw only good reviews and everyone I asked told me to buy it instead of the AW.

So..how do I get an external audio for speakers for this monitor?? Is there some kind of attachment I can use or?
Wondering this too, do you now know a way?
Sadly I don’t believe so..I literally bought this monitor because my 32” Dell didn’t have VRR or HDMI 2.1 for PS5. Now I have a 32” that doesn’t support VRR or HDMI 2.1 and a 27” that doesn’t have external speakers lol Dell needs to be more clear on their products 😒
