*This video was done before the GTA V being FREE. You will surely have slower download speeds because the servers are very used at the moment. But of course these settings should help you get the most out of it.*

Thanks, I was stuck at 0 and now it at least downloading at 1mb after the CMD Commands.
It worked! The commands in cmd made my download speed go from 0 to 33 but only for a few seconds. But after I changed my dns it became steady 15 to 40 mb/s, thanks!
I did the second method and my download speed went from 1-2mbps to over 10mbps THANK YOU MAN YOUR SUCH A LIFESAVER!!!
Last part , changing DNS setting helped me , thanks for a video
The CMD commands and restart took my download speed from 0.0 kB/s to 30 MB/s. Thanks a lot!

Also, something that works for me is to increase the connection up to a value where the download speed doesn't drop in the EG launcher. Usually, I download up to 1.2~1.3Mbps, I set the limit to 950kbps and I have an about constant download rate
Mines lowest and initially put 900kbps. I got fed up and put 3000kbps fuk u egs lolol.

Click your user icon in the top-right -> Settings -> Throttle Downloads (tick) -> enter limit in kbps
Try startup enable Safe Mode with Networking!

Check yours programs. I was cfosspeed program from MSI motherboard and it was a problem.

@@fahim6720 nope it doesn't disappear you can do one thing if you want to restart pc before. Restarting just copy the files you have downloaded in other disk or same disk so that if by chance it starts from starting you just again copy it back

i can't belive dumb people like you exist, it dosn't start from 0 to 94 dumbass, it starts from 0 to 44gb, becouse YOU ALREDY DOWNLOADED THE 50gb DATA now you just need to download 44gb more data, unless you restarted it yourself wich means 50gb was deleted by YOU, otherwise epic games dosn't do anything but reduce the download for example: 00mb of ##gb, wich was beforehand ##gb of 94gb

Thank you! It works like a charm. 10 minutes after restarting my PC I've already downloaded more GB than during previous 10 hours!
Pro tip: Remember to pause current download and shut down EGS via Windows task manager before restarting your computer, not to loose your current progress.

If you’re trying to download something and you’re connected to WiFi wirelessly then you should get a lan cable I connected the one I use for my ps4 to my pc and it went from 0 to 3mb/s and it started downloading the game so I recommend a lan cable for those who use a pc and use wireless WiFi
