    Me with $2 in my bank: ima buy myself 1.5carat

    • @KSWKREW

      I bought my fiancé a 1.57 carat, E color, VVS1 clarity, Excellent cut for 1/3 of the price shown on this video. The trick is to do some research with other vendors, and you can get a good diamond with better, or equal, quality than seen here.

      Moissanite gang here. Cheap, real stone with certification, more fire, more ethical... from SPACE!

    • @arika12332
      @arika12332 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jedifam66 the moissonite you see in the market isn't real or from space. It's 100% man made actually. They are imitating the first original moissonite that fell from space. Actual moissonite from space would cost 10x a natural diamond.

    19k for a 1.5 ct?? i’d hate to get engaged in Canada

    • @mmarmrcz6770
      @mmarmrcz6770 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      $19k Canadian was $14,400 US at that time. Same money (currency exchange). In another country, as in Poland, $14,400 US dollars a year ago was approximately equal to Zloty 52,000. The world's currencies are equated to the US dollar. Look up the Foreign Exchange Market.

    i‘m trying not to buy something too clonky and too “uncomfortable” she isn’t a big jewelry person and wants it to be as simple as possible. through some sneaky questions i found out she wants a plain band and a cushion cut stone. i want to find a balance between comfortable and not coming across cheap. (no she doesn’t care about that at all, i just don’t want to come across like i don’t care) any advice on diamond size? any experience?

    My woman won't ever have ring envy I'll tell you that much. I'm not even rich but I love this girl will all my being. Guy is crazy if he thinks a 2 ct ring is 25 g's.. found some nice pear shaped diamonds for like 12 grand. Love you Tara.

    If you are going to set diamond in real gold (yellow), then you can comfortably go down in "color" up to K, and spend the same amount in increasing the Carat, Cut and Clarity, which are much more important parameters in bring the "fire" in them. Most salesmen confuse you color with clarity and make you go to colors D, E, F, which is surely not valuable for the price difference they have, especially if you're going for gold jewelry. Most Indians dislike any other metal other than real gold, so I do not have experience with other non-yellow metals like platinum, white gold, etc.

      Diamonds are actually cheap to produce. They’re so cheap and easy to produce that they can be even made synthetically to ones found in nature. The only reason they’re expensive is because De Beers and other diamond miners made a cartel and purposefully hoard the supply and also some bit of marketing and propaganda. There’s a reason why pawnshops and jewelers buy it from you for cheap. The only expensive part of the ring is the gold and silver metal in it.
      Have fun being fleeced and had by diamond manufacturers and sellers. I’ll be buying moissanite with a white gold ring instead. At leasts I can salvage the white gold and the pawnshop will be hard pressed to tell the difference between a diamond and a moissanite if you decide to pawn or sell it.
