    Great size comparison. I personally don't like diamonds too big, just my preference. I like 7/8th ct to 1 ct the most, more than enough bling for me.

    My engagement ring was 1.35 carat solitaire. For our one year anniversary and also to commemorate my Master’s graduation we are combining our funds to upgrade to a 2 - 2.5 carat… these videos are helping so much. I think with my size 6.5 finger I will stick to the lower end of 2 carat.

      Way too large!! I have 6 finger with .67 ct and I feel weird. 😂 different strokes for different folks

      I have a size 6 and I got a 3ct diamond, when I look at it I wish I could upgrade it to 4 ct. It’s never too big.

    6.26 when you're using the diamond finder online, it did not let me choose "Ideal, Astor Ideal" for marquise shape (& other shape) diamonds.

      Probably better to go up in clarity and down in size. 2.0 with vs2 clarity at minimum

      To me when they get that big, it looks like costume jewelry especially if it's a lab grown because I know how low they cost. But to each their own.

      @@usfanlovesminho5085idiot, lab grown diamonds that are 3ct D are 8-10k. The diamond is also exactly the same as a natural diamond. It’s like paying an insane premium to use ice from the arctic instead of using your freezer. Lab grown diamonds are ethical, better value, and actually more perfect lol. But keep falling victim to the debeers corporations marketing lol

      Lower standard grading. GIA is gold standards, so he uses/prefers GIA.

      Both reputable graders. GIA are known to be more consistent with mined diamonds. However with lab grown IGI and GIA are just as good as each other, if anything IGI is considered better for lab grown.

      @@lukemiller539 GIA is the most reputable in not just the US but internationally with AGS coming in a close second. IGI fluffs their grading, for Cut let's just say they're very loose with their "ideal" grade. You can research and find out more.

      I researched moissanite before making a purchase because I fell into “ it looks the same” etc.. I received my ring and was devastated.. after having real diamonds the difference was VERY noticeable.. it looked so cheap and obviously fake I returned it..

      @@southernbelle850 Exactly. It looks like some cheap looking imitation! Some people just don’t value quality and rather have something cheap. I pity those people. Can you imagine how ridiculous a cheap little monisate will look, let alone a 4 carat one. LOL! If that person wants to buy a cheap 4 carat monsiate it will not look good, because I can almost guarantee they will live a lifestyle that will not match with a 4 carat ring.
