Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Godliness with content is great gain, maybe it's the greatest gain a prosperious christian like my self can have, however my Love will always be for my God and Savior and nothing , absolutely nothing, can com between the personal relationship i have with my savior; i am prosperious because it's his will, but if he wishes i be a nothing, let his will be done as long as i am with him thats what matters.

It is most strange, that I have never felt I fitted in this world. I have always believed Yeshua died for me from a very young age (5/6) when I saw a picture of him in a children's BIBLE. I made many mistakes in my youth, not fully understanding the scriptures not having a father since the age of 2 with 2 other siblings with a single mother till my mother remarried when I was seven. As I got older becoming disillusioned with life and people I start seeking the TRUTH in scripture. There is where our found the meaning and purpose for my life. Even now knowing much from what Abba Yahweh and Yeshua has taught me in his WORD both Old and New Testament, I still stumble. My heartfelt and constant prayer is to be faithful, to Him. I also believe and have Faith in all He has spoken. I do not doubt the goodness of Abba, yet I doubt myself, for I know I have weaknesses and Abba is very much aware of them and working His good work in me. (In the prayer Yeshua prayed "Our Father.... "keep us (me) from temptation (the things of the flesh and to walk in His Holy Spirit)), Deliver us from evil ...." (Deliver me from my evil/flesh inclination and the evil that is in our midst - those who seek to kill, steal and destroy"). My hearts desire is to walk in the Will and Way of my Abba Yahweh and to follow the example Yeshua set before us to walk righteously before our Abba Yahweh. Our Abba is so filled with loving kindness and goodness, patient and longsuffering with us, abounding in grace and mercy, granting forgiveness to an undeserved sinner, adopting me into His family and pouring out His blessing (all the riches in Yeshua our Messiah, both physically and spiritually), and sending His Holy Spirit (our comforter) who strengthens us and helps us to walk righteously before our Abba Yahweh (our Father God). I am a pensioner now and in hindsight I have seen in many events in my life, His hand has been upon me, working His good work within me to fulfill his plan and purpose for my life. Blessed is His wonderful Name and the Name of Yeshua our Messiah, our Master, High Priest, Chief Shepherd, Kinsman Redeemer and His beloved, begotten, Firstborn Son and King. Blessing to all the brethren in Yeshua our Messiah. We are truly RICH, for His Free Gift of Salvation and love towards us, is more priceless than any treasure in the heavens and the earth. May our beloved Abba Yahweh of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and bless and strengthen you, guide, protect and provide for your physical and spiritual needs and refresh us daily to strengthen us with your Holy Spirit, that we may shine your Shekinah/Glory/Light to those around us living in darkness that they may be drawn unto you within us". We ask this in the Blessed Name of Yeshua. (Jesus) Amen

New to an area, and this is exactly what makes me extremely nervous/scared in finding a new church.
This is the first time ever in my walk (by God's grace) that stuff like this has ever even been close to being on the radar.. I'm so afraid of being fake at services.... I always leave feeling like I have some kind of plastic smile on (I've struggled with this feeling for ~15 years).... trying ones best to do good at small talk.... I just don't know how one is to begin even talking on a true, not of this world, fellowship level in passing conversation.... "light and frothy"... I feel this through my days in a Godly manner, but it's not an on-and-off thing... and most the time worship services seem to be the last place I feel that.... kinda stuck somber in awe and reverence, it's hard to be "light and frothy".. is this just me?

I've dealt with it for over 40 years. Most people avoid talking anout the sermon or anything to do with God & Christ to where sometime I feel like I'm at a garden club rather than church. Paul Washer once said he believes only abouy 15% of Smerican Christians are truly saved, & I tend to think he's probably right.
