- The final curtain call by the cast of The Big Bang Theory before the audience, and the very emotional aftermath of the series wrap with Francoise (Art Director) walking out on stage just after the final cast curtain call closing out the series (at about 2:30), including an emotional Johnny Galecki turning from my camera, and Jim Parsons (Sheldon) hugging and thanking Francoise and I. Thank you to everyone involved for what this moment has meant to so many lives. #TheBigBangTheory

Yeah, I love how they did not drag this show for so long. They had a great show and a great run. Also, what I love about this show is that the ending was PERFECT. There was no cliff-hanger, no whys, no what ifs, no frustrations and no one asking for a reunion (I mean like, I want them to reunite but not because of unanswered questions or scenarios related to the show).
It was a beautiful closure; so beautiul because you can see how each of the characters grew and developed over the last 12 years. Howard who was once a ladies's man (or sort of a pervert [sorry]) became a loving and faithful husband to Bernadette and a dedicated father to two wonderful children. Raj overcoming his selective mutisim and has grown mature to not rely on his parent's money and to love himself more instead of giving in to the pressures of society (example, finding a wife). Penny, who was a "part-time waitress"/frustrated actress when we 1st met her, matured and became a successful pharmaceutical sales rep and is happily married to Leonard, who once always seeks the approval of his parents, finally forgave his mother after all these years (one of my favorite moments), and are expecting a child. Amy, who never had any friend back in her childhood, has two best friends who she can finally do anything girls do with their girlfriends and is happily married to Sheldon, who was once so selfish, self-centered, insensitive and childish, finally matured and learned how to appreciate, love and actually apologized to his friends, his other family, who has been supporting and loving him all throughout the years. That's what I see on the last scene on the living room of Sheldon and Leonard's apartment (well, it's Penny and Leonard's). I couldn't ask for a better ending 😭❤ (Seriously, I cried on that scene)

The show got picked up for two more seasons. They had it pretty much planned out. But, Parsons couldn't handle the workload. It was either write him off, or end it all together.

I wish they would put the living room set somewhere as an attraction (I hear it's going to the Smithsonian, so it's not going to happen) where people could interact with it. I really just want to sit in Sheldon's spot! That would make a great selfie!
The clothes are going to the Smtihsonian, but the set will likely go to the Warner Bros. museum and store as an exhibit.

Just finished bigg n e watching the series, and THIS was the video I have been looking for! Now I can have some closure ☺️
I worked on the final episodes of a few different shows, (The Ranch, New Girl, and The Middle), and videos like this just are capturing just a fraction of the emotional roller coaster. It's a very hard day on set when the cast takes their final bows. On The Ranch, some of the sets were already being pulled apart that week before the final scenes were being shot for the audience on the final day. It's harder that graduating High School or College in some ways, because you might have spent 10+ hours a day working together for 5 years or more. In most TV shows, you know the crew better than you know your family during the months we film. And a show with over 10 years!? Forget it man... everyone is just Niagara Falls with the tears. It's a tough night.
First Smallville ending(a Thursday show) and now Big Bang(Thursdays as well) my Thursdays always end up ending and me having to find a replacement for what I watch on that day....I miss this show already

@@XX-gy7ue I would say that this is infact good art. To be funny decent amount of times throughout the 10 seasons is good. It's certainly not the show which challenges the best of the best but it is definitely one of the best shows of this era currently.

This is how you end a show not doing something crazy or everyone is "moving away. They ended it how they lived it together doing the simple things in life eating and they did that together.

They ended it too quick. They rushed the shamy relationship into wedding and then there was nothing left to talk about.
This is a rare case of ending it too early.
I think they dragged out the Shamy relationship too long, they should have sped it up.
Anything more than 5 years in a sitcom is pretty good, I enjoyed the characters, and the way the actors played them; but it was time to move on.
I would rather have seen a time jump for the finale, rather than be teased with a reunion movie or short return in the future.
I'll admit it lost its way a bit in the later series but it only ended because Jim wanted to leave.

It happened again. I would devour another season of this. Even if not as good as before, still better than all the crap that goes around, but looks like Parson got tired of it and never mind the fans that made it possible. The last time the main star ruined the best show around, it was Topher Grace in "That 70's Show". Funny thing, he ruined the show for the role that ended his career.
