I'm glad I found your videos for the F1 Ultra, there Excellent I have one and your videos are the best in content and explanations , I like the fact that you don't waste time with unnecessary chit chat. I may have to rewind and watch it again to grasp it all ,but I'm old so that could just be me :). I also noticed your fixtures are vary well designed and made and will be supposing you by purchasing many of them thanks again and keep making the F1 ultra videos!
As always - amazing video. I never thought of using a preset for the wording on the test grid. Also have EVERY JIG and the new Jig Organizer - A+++ and a must have
the change in color of the text on the dogtags are probably caused by the change in temperature of the base material, just like in welding where the metal goes from a straw color to blue as the material gets hotter (more oxidization)
Hey embrace question at around 7:06 you take a snapshot of your dog tag it auto generated the shape as an object I can't seem to get my new f1 ultra to do that when using the dog if tags it brought. I do notice that my camera button is at the top bar as opposed to yours that shows to the right. Anyhow and help would be greatly appreciated because I can't proceed with trying to mask.
So this worked great for vectors, what about grayscale raster images? Any suggestions for settings on a black dog tag? Mine are either to gray or blown out..
Thanks! I had to edit this comment of mine because I forgot that I already added the push holes on the bottom of those jigs lol - In the video I'm just pulling the tags out from the loop hole in the tags because I was leaving the fixture in place for the next tag. Could have just taken it out and used the push hole though lol
Can the F1 or F1 ultra engrave on gold plated stainless steel? I'm looking to engrave photos, such as portraits of people, on gold plated necklace pendants. Which would you recommend for this use case? Thank you in advance!
Is it possible to replicate any of these projects with a X-tool D1 pro and a 2w IR Laser? I'm new to all this and cannot afford the price of this machine
Sort of but not exactly... the IR laser on this machine is 20W so it will work to mark the metal much deeper. However, with some trial and error you can get some great engraving results on metal with your 2W IR and some creativity. Check out some of the regular F1 metal engraving videos out there because that machine is also 2W power.

I am amazed by the sharpness of the shapes, so beautiful!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to comment

Can you also link to the images you used? they looked pretty interesting. if you are willing to share for testing.
Does the F1 Ultra have the 1.6W IR lazer, or does the 20W fibre lazer replace that?
F1 ultra has the 20W fiber laser (which is technically still in the IR wavelength)

Hey Embrace, where are you getting your vector images? Please and thank you.
hey, i wanted to know if you have the file of the outline of the dog tag to make the mask. or a tutorial on how to make one please.
How did you do the Lilly
Same process as the dolphin example with the two steps of engraving :)
@@EmbraceMaking thank you
