    Best Vitamins for Skin
    Skin vitamins for healthy skin. Which skin vitamins do we need? There's vitamin C, which is a powerhouse for skin brightening, like your vitamin c serums and vitamin A, which fulfills our anti-aging dreams, like retinol. But when it comes to the lesser-known vitamin, most of us have little to no idea how this one vitamin, benefits the skin and how it plays an important part of having healthy glowing skin
    Vitamin-enriched skin-care products can protect against free-radical damage, treat fine lines and wrinkles, and lessen hyperpigmentation. Basically, there’s a vitamin out there for every one of your skin concerns - you just have to know which one provides which benefits. But the one that stands out to me the most due to its incredibly restorative properties, is Vitamin B3. You see, there are eight B vitamins, and as a group they are called B-complex vitamins. But when it comes to skin care, the one that steals the show, is Vitamin B3, otherwise known as niacinamide.
    Benefits of Niacinamide and Benefits of Vitamin B3. These benefits will help you on how to get rid of smile lines or laugh lines
    1.) It decreases hyperpigmentation. Vitamin A and vitamin C are popular picks for brightening dark spots and getting rid of hyperpigmentation altogether. But niacinamide helps reduce the appearance of brown spots, blotchiness, and redness and brightens the overall complexion. An excellent choice if you have rosacea or eczema.
    2.) It helps lock in moisture. When it comes to skin care, we all love ingredients that moisturize. The water retention keeps the skin moisturized, which in turn keeps the skin barrier healthy and uncompromised.
    3.) It strengthens the skin barrier. Having a strong skin barrier helps our bodies keep harmful things from entering the skin.
    4.) It minimizes fine lines. You see, vitamin B3 is an antioxidant, it has anti-inflammatory properties. "This is why it helps prevent and treat signs of aging due to reactive oxygen species, which typically break up collagen and elastin and can result in sagging wrinkles in skin.
    When to use niacinamide and how to use niacinamide
    For a niacinamide serum, it’s best to apply them after cleansing and toning and before oil-based serums or moisturizers. This way, you get the highest possible absorption. Cover your entire face with the serum, but feel free to concentrate on oily areas.
    As far as niacinamide moisturizer. It’s best to apply these products after cleansing, toning, and serums but before sunscreen and makeup.
    How long does niacinamide take to work
    Although most of the available research describes noticeable improvements after four weeks of use, there’s no exact timeline. Some even see more changes in 8 weeks of time, which include smoother, toned, and hydrated skin. So dont give up on using it just yet.

    • @ArsalanAspires
      @ArsalanAspires  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the formulation as some have multiple added ingredients which can be tricky. Most skin care formulations don't tend to reach those levels of heat tied back to the niacin issue if that is what your referring to, so you should be just fine. But if your skin falls more on the sensitive side, you might still want to proceed with caution. And if you do have sensitive skin, you might want to use low concentrations of niacinamide, typically no greater than 2%, to avoid irritation.

    niacinamide & azelic acid.
    Thank you.

    • @ArsalanAspires
      @ArsalanAspires  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Thank you for the important question! You may use them in both situations. You will find that with azelaic acid it works well to rid the surface build-up of skin cells, bacteria, and impurities whilst niacinamide works at aiding a boost in hydration and restoring the skin barrier to a healthier state hopefully blemish free.
      To use the azelaic acid: Apply 2-3 drops of niacinamide first then wait for 1-2 minutes (for niacinamide to fully absorb), before moving ahead to apply the azelaic acid.
      For kojic acid you may apply it in the morning, let it dry out completely and then apply a niacinamide moisturizer after.
      I hope this helps!

      Thank you for your important question. Yes, niacinamide helps to enhance collagen synthesis, and as a secondary effect of this, it smoothens out the skin and may impact the pore visibility but it takes a minimum of 12 weeks to see if pore visibility yielded change.

    • @ArsalanAspires
      @ArsalanAspires  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for your question.
      1st: Vitamin C Serum should be applied first, as it is usually water-based and should be applied to clean skin.
      2nd: Niacinamide: after the vitamin C serum is also water-soluble and works well with vitamin C.
      3rd: Then Retinol, but note that retinol should generally be used at night because it can increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight.
      4th: Moisturizer: Apply last to seal in all the previous layers and provide hydration.

      Vit. C is often mixed with acidic ingredients to maximize absorption & potency. Niacinamide tends to thrive on high (alkaline) ph. Mixing could reduce the effectiveness of vit. C or even make it "unstable." Be aware of vit. C mixed with citric acid, grapefruit, lime extract et etc.

    Can I use Nicinamide with Vitamin C ?

    • @ArsalanAspires
      @ArsalanAspires  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thanks for your question. Older evidence showed us that the two products could convert to niacin and cause flushing, but it would need high amounts of heat to do that.
      In short, yes you can combine them. If it’s your first time: you can use a low concentration of niacinamide 2% to avoid irritation. Let the vitamin c completely dry then add the niacinamide after. A good rule of thumb is to apply thinnest products to thickest. So in contrast,say, if you have a niacinamide serum and a vitamin-C-infused moisturizer, apply the serum first, then follow up with the cream.
      I hope that helps! 🍀
