Only person in my family that likes cricket , truly fallen in love with this sport , the endless early starts to try and stream the matches , top of my bucket list is to go away with the barmy army and experience cricket first hand
I still remember the Mitchell’s wicket and chants from barmy army. I loved the fans as I was watching like football match. Mad respect to Barmy Army. You’re are true fans not like plastic one.

I went to the indies when it was cancelled for unsafe wicket.. I was gutted.. Not been since... How do u guys afford it??... Wish I could do a tour just once... Last last trip cost 8k and that was ages ago.. I wanted to see Lara on his home turf.
As an Aussie. I can honestly say that I laugh when I hear you sing we all shagged Matilda. You are essentially admitting you are having sex with a tent. I mean, whatever you fancy I guess but a little embarrassing to admit. 🤣🤣🤣 Onya guys. Respect. :)
THAT SYDNEY match was inundated by the english because in that year the exchange rate was 3 dollars to a pound, thousands went over for a holiday and joined in
Date is wrong.l was in Australia in 94 when a record 15,000 strong barmy army was created..which was 27 years from date of this video..We displaced the aussie fans stronghold on the Hill and l recall,at end of days play wading thru ankle high empty plastic pint containers..At Sydney ccc there were 4 giant fights broke out across the ground, but play just carried on..lol
The barmy army has run its course in its current form and needs a big refresh. Was fun when it started, a group of people labelled barmy for going to the lengths they did to support a hopeless side. Now it’s become too big, and has been hijacked by a drunk, football hooligan type culture that abuses the opposition, particularly Australians. It needs to move away from that as it’s spoiling the family friendly atmosphere cricket matches should attact
So proud to have been a founder member. One of the original 100 they spoke about. Can't wait for Melbourne in 2021 now.
