I always spent my free time alone, it was comfortable for me but I felt like I hadn't productive day😢 However, I got confidence since I started crochet🧶✰⋆。:゚・*☽:゚ So, this tutorial improved my crochet skill and I could make my daily life more productive. this tutorial has given me the perfect thing to use my dream yarn for, thank you so much! i've been needing a good comfortable skirt, and i've been struggling to find a project for the yarn, and this solved both problems perfectly!

Hi I'm a 65 year old woman who loves your work. If you understood correctly, in the first two rounds you make a few increases spaced apart and then double? A thousand thanks
Omg this is the first maxi skirt pattern ive found that ive fallen in love with, haha. The only thing i could think of that could make it better would be if it had pockets, but I’ve honestly never seen a maxi crochet skirt pattern with them so im not upset at all. I will definitely make this pattern at some point, great job! edit: i actually found out how to add on pockets! i will be making this as soon as ive finished my current projects! just one question, do you know how much yarn you used? Edit 2: ive decided to put how much yarn ive been using here for anyone else wondering. So far ive used three balls of lionbrands mandala ombre yarn, and i think ill need three, maybe at most four more balls to finish. But ive also been using a 5.00 mm hook and have tight tension, so other people might need less. Hope this helps someone! Edit 3: so, im about halfway through my fourth ball, and your gonna need atleast 2000m of yarn at minimum to get full length. Im gonna need that ammount, and i skipped a row of increases.
oh man this video would’ve helped a lot a few months ago kdjdkd I made a maxi skirt with four tiers but I increased. probably way more than I should have kdjdkd i used cotton for one thing, and each tier i increased 1+2 in the first round, so the final skirt weighs literally close to 6 pounds. i love how it looks it’s VERY swooshy but it’s definitely unwieldy and this looks much easier lmao

- repeat previous step as many rows as needed until you get the right length to fit around your waist
- connect - watch video 7:59 - 9:22
- turn inside out (so seam is inside)
- chain 1
- lay it flat and find the sides, where your hips will be, mark the two spots (with a stitch marker, safety pin, bobby pins, etc.)
- do a row of single crochets into whatever available holes look good, try to make it as even as possible
- at each stitch marker, increase (do two single crochets into the same stitch) and replace stitch marker into the first stitch of the increase
- watch video for how to close rounds and change color if needed - 12:42 - 13:37
hips:
- chain and turn - do a row (any stitch), at the same hip markers increase (this is the last time, so you cam take out the markers)
- increase row - every other stitch (you increase in every other stitch, so the pattern would be: 1 stitch, 2 stitches, 1 stitch, 2 stitches, etc.)

- 8 normal rows
- last increase row - every *fourth* stitch (same idea as before, except now the pattern is: 1 stitch, 1 stitch, 1 stitch, 2 stitches, 1, 1, 1, 2, etc.)
- continue normal rows until it is at your desired length! :D

Hellooooo, do you have a written pattern? That'd be nice if you do :3
thanks sm!❤
How tall are you
Thank you❤
What size of hook did you use? 🥺
And what type of yarn do you recommend the most?
btw I loved the tutorial, I’m gonna do it soon!!
i used a 5 mm hook!! honestly, whatever yarn is accessible to you :) i suggest sticking with worsted weight and any types of yarn you can find. it takes a lot, so whatever you can afford (look for sales, joanns has good ones quite often) 💜 i’ve found a lot of really good yarn at thrift stores too!! 🫶🏼

can anyone please tell me the supplies I need to begin learning ? sorry I know nothing
hi!! these are the things i use in most of my tutorials and things i’d recommend for a beginner just starting out! i recommend buying the ergonomic crochet hooks with the grip handles (so much better for your hands in the long run), yarn, a measuring tape, a nice pair of scissors, a tapestry needle (to weave in ends and sew pieces together), and stitch markers 💕💫🫶🏼
Thank yooooouuuu@@HannahDrapinski 💓💓
OF COURSE!!! so excited, i love when people start learning crochet. such a beautiful art form 🫶🏼🫂
Your instructions are confusing. Nice skirt though.
Try watching the whole video first it not like usual tutorial its more you we can design the skirt based on our preference
It’s like a follow along tutorial and I’ve nearly finished mine!
Are you hippie??
Yes, she is.
Could you create an email address for questions/requests? Comments are too public for some.
