There were River Pirates so maybe that's how it works role playing wise for the Pirate class. Everytime I see anything with Roots. I always go to the Redwall series Im always sad there's not more content from that
@@blandgaming6222 Your very welcome, I have a question and i hope yo can help me out. Where in the world to I get the Playbooks for the Travelers and Outsiders? Magpie has a free download for the original playbooks but i cant find one for the supplement.
@@mitchellsink2584 unfortunately since I am a kickstarter backer, I'm not sure these have gone retail yet. I JUST received these on March 5th, so it may be awhile until these are available for retail.
I am hardly in a position to disagree. Alas, between running 2 campaigns, a wife and kids, and an intense career, my free time has been somewhat limited. I am reading Blade Runner RPG right now and I will try and review it ASAP.
@@blandgaming6222 That's how I feel right now. Minus the extra kids. I would say look into Warhammer soul bound. Seems to be getting some traction. Since the OGL announcement. I am running Symbaroum online and Adventures in Rokugan. So I get it. Was running L5R proper but group wanted AiR instead. I love the reviews and look forward to the new one.
Mostly physical content, but being a Kickstarter guy I often get the PDF's. I guess flipping through the PDF may be a better way to review the interior content. 🤔
I was just curious because there's some games that are pdf only. I really appreciate you going through Root like this though: it was a great overview of all of the physical materials.
Just found your channel today, and it looks like my taste in games is similar to yours. Really enjoying the content so far!
Looks like candy! The production value is clearly amazing.
The video does not do it justice.
Between a homebrew mouse guard with more animals to select and this! Which system do you prefer?
welcome to pbta games! urban shadows also by magpie games was one my favorite rpg experience ever
Great review. Darn I'm going to have to get a copy when it's on general release ^_^
What music do you have in the background?

Just watched this look at Root. Great job of giving us a look at the game! Do you always review physical content, or do you look at PDFs as well?
