Units within 7" of Overpowering Stench cannot issue commands BUT unless they're wholly within 7" they can still recieve commands from other units further away :)

yeah the dice where rough this game hehe but stil fun to watch. as for sloppety bilepiper, his ability got changed, it no longer stops pile ins but instead gives -1 to hit.

Cities of Sigmar players have to understand how to use Grey water fastness sub-faction.
You cannot use the Steam tank commander to issue all out attack 4 times. His warscroll ability allows him to issue the command twice. He can only issue 1 command(core rules); X2 to steam tanks (not himself, he does not have the steam tank keyword)
The sub-faction allows 3 individual units to issue all out attack, each unit is limited by the 1 command per phase core rule. It doesn't supercede that. It JUST allows the command to be issued 3 times.
Edit: I re-watched and realized that Micheal didn't necessarily use it wrong, but its still good for players to know as it could be easily mistaken and I've seen it done in other battle reports
We were a bit cloudy on this as well, so we did our best to interpret the rules. Thanks for the rules clarification :)
Hi guys, just to clarify on this battleplan: even if you hold both the East and West objs, and the North and South objs, you can still only receive a total of 1 extra point, because of the use of “or” in the relevant text. The maximum you can score in a turn here is 6 points.

3 rounds of losing priority, Cycle of Corruption preventing commands is sooo good. God, that is terrible to deal with on the opposing side, though. Good game, gentlemen. I love the custom shield inserts on the Steam Tanks in particular. :D

One of my personal superstitions in the hobby is that some folks know how to roll dice, and some folks don’t.
Having watched hundreds of battle reports over the last eight years, I have come to believe, at least half-seriously, that there’s a non-trivial art to dice rolling.
Unfortunately, Michael, with ❤ and respect: The way you often roll dice consistently sets off my alarm bells. Big time. :)
You often don’t roll with passion, with spirit.
If I were your dice, you know what your rolling techniques would often tell me? This man doesn’t sufficiently care about me. He’s rolling me nonchalantly, dispassionately, and with a seeming belief that I’m going to disappoint him.
So you know what? I’m going to respond in kind. If he’s not going to roll me like he gives a s-, then I’m not going to give a s-. Two can play that game.
Dice exist to be ROLLED, Michael - not to be flicked, not to be quickly and lightly tossed with a couple fingers - but to be passionately ROLLED.

Did the CoS player totally forget about Orders, or did I just miss them being issued? Some suppressing Fire, Return Fire and Engage the Foe would have been grand.
orders were issued and used. Notable was a big countercharge with the steam tanks, and the griffon using his once per battle 2 orders to advance and then engage the foe
Hey love your battle reports!! For the cycle of corruption: Plague of Misery heroes can not issue the Inspiring Presence but unit champions still can issue it!

Things went well for Nurgle. Shockingly well to be honest. We figured Michael would kill a 2 man of flies every turn, but his average damage from shooting each turn was 8-10. Turn order and an early points swing with some serious luck t1 charging from Nurgle made this game :)
It’s always Dave who has the hot dice rolls…
When you give dave a 9 inch charge and 5+ ward he is unstoppable
Didnt see you check for charge damage on LOA nurgle turn 1, gotta love those mortal wounds on a 2+
I retro'd it during the combat phase, 2 mortal wounds and michael lost a horse. I kept the damage I received since I forgot this until later. That is all covered verbally during the combat phase :)
Oh yeah, caught it now. Must’ve missed in the first watch. I ran a very similar list against a chaos army with much success 😁

It was hard to watch for me too (Dave) after taking no damage, made e 9 inch charges and won priority. Talk about miraculous!

Funny I just bought those STLs only a few days ago
They represent the Steam Tank well, we love the armor plate in front that matches the other units!
Cities list into Nurgle pin army. They are disgustingly resilent and would probably be a counter pick in team event into a steam tank list. I wouldn't take this one game as an example of the armies strength.
A lot of armies will struggle to even put down a tank at a 1+ save with a 5+ ward while taking double or tripple unleash hell. I really want long range shooting addressed in 4th edition, it's my one hope for the new edition. It's such a strong pick into a lot of armies with little counter play besides hopefully having some wildwoods near you.

During the Andtorian Foot hero GHB. Michael once won 10 games in a row. I thought I was cursed, but things turned around. I believe in hot/cold streaks for sure lol.

How come the steam tanks were making two shots each in turn 1
they have a rule to over pressure the engines and get additional shots
But isn't the rule conditional of the number of allocated wounds? How can you pass that from turn 1? The rule says you roll 2d6 and if the number obtained is less or equal to number of allocated wounds then the tank takes d3 MW. If the roll is higher, THEN you can overpower. I cannoy see how you could have passed that turn 1, nor did I see you evwn roll for it. Very curious as to how you pulled it off.

TBH this list should have crushed Nurgle regardless. I was insane lucky to take virtually no damage t1 and then make 3 separate 9in charged to close the distance. If we played that match up 9 more times, I bet Michael would win all of them! He wanted Greywater for that sweet all out attack x4

@@BattleshockWargaming Really gutted I just heard back from GW after questioning why in the AoS app they have gone to a 5+ save along with the extra wound. Hoped it was by mistake, but apparently it is intentional. They just didn't mention it anywhere in the Battlescroll update or the update notes for the Seraphon Battletome..

how can your army be 2010 points?
We filmed this right before the balance update, so the points went up for both armies. I wanted to reflect that so viewers were aware. The cities of sigmar list was 2060 points after balance :)

Again... The dice after 3min i want to Turn Off... Michael cant shoot but then 3 9" Inch charges in a row. The much I Like your battreps but this feels rigged
Sometimes you get lucky and... sometimes you don't. This is the nature of a dice game. Note that Michael changed his dice after the first battle round and still had some unlucky rolls :) All of our dice are provided by Baron of Dice. There are no smoke and mirrors here, promise lol. And for the record, Michael wins 80% of our games :)

I think if we played that match up 5 more times, Michael would win them all, but some magical things happened for Nurgle! I took flies against Morathi in the last member report and they got clapped. So. Hard. We'll chalk this up as a miraculous event bestowed by Grandfather Nurgle himself 😀

This list that Michael ran is now 2090 points, with 1 less screen (probably dawnriders) this list does not hold objectives well. That being said, it will table some armies by midgame and swing points. I can see it as a 4-1 army, but doubt it can podium without favorable match ups. The list Gavin Grigar took 2nd with @ LVO went up 160 points and no more blazing weapons for missile attacks. He had a tank commander, 4 steam tanks and 2 command corps. We are leaning toward cavaliers list. Just got 4 units/Tahlia and will be fielding that soon. I think 2 tanks in the back with focus on some fast attack and some improved damage output in melee is the ticket. The great thing about cities is their tome is vast. Much like Soulblight Gravelords, almost any subfaction has some spicy potential :)@@Childhood.87
