You don't want to stick your fingers inside of the mouth or swipe because you could push an object down further. Also sometimes it's not an object the baby is choking on, but a liquid.
The advice on the chest thrust is totally wrong. The fingers SHOULD NOT be over the heart of the baby. This is the position for when we do CPR. In this case we are trying to create a back pressure behind the object to expell it. This technique is taught in the SAS, CIA, MI6 etc for taking an assailant out. It puts the heart into VF which you could do if you do this over the heart of the baby. By the way a baby is not an infant. Moot point. The fingers should be either side of the heart above or below the mid point. The Red Cross need to review this as they have done over the years in adjusting their advice in the First Aid manual they publish.

That hitting is hard for a baby that's under 3months
It's that or a dead baby
You have to have effective hits. If not, then nothing is going to help.
Choose one
Living baby with bruises
Dead baby without any bruises

Too long
She's hitting that white baby hard
It needs to be a firm hit to get the object out
