    I wonder in how many episodes, they use the name “Red,” for a bad guy! I know it’s LOT! They used it a lot in all of the radio shows, like detective shows, even Gunsmoke!

    That “breathing ring “ 🤔 yep the first ring moves . I thought I was loosing it. But no .. it’s movin…Just a little “fun fact” hahaha …I use closed captioning so I always look at the screen . And see that Breathing Ring ….The BIG Breathing Ring 😁

    Jeff Allen was played by Harry Bartell, who played Lieutenant Seiberts opposite Raymond Burr in "Fort Laramie."

      Yes and no. The law enforcement and legal world were a lot different in 1951 than they are now.

      In this episode he savagely framed an innocent man for 22 counts of burglary that he didn’t do because it for sure wouldn’t happen again.

    It’s unfortunate that a cigarette company sponsored the show, when I’d imagine there were other advertisers willing to spend advertising dollars on this great series. Being the only sponsors the cigarette ads are too frequent, in your face and certainly have not aged well to say the least.

      @@tree1383 I do enjoy the show obviously. I’m here listening to it, aren’t I? I don’t like the cigarette ads. I realize they didn’t know then what we now know about smoking but doesn’t make it any less disturbing to listen to.
