- Bank holiday Monday visit to PRESTATYN in North Wales. A great place to stop and visit if you like expansive sandy beaches, which are just perfect for leisurely strolls and family picnics.
Prestatyn is a seaside town located on the north coast of Wales, in the county of Denbighshire. It's known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery, and its position as a popular holiday destination. The town has a mix of Victorian and modern architecture, with attractions such as the Nova Centre, a leisure facility offering a lovely dog friendly cafe and fitness activities.

Oh what a lovely day you all had. Shelby loved being on the beach chasing a stick and crunching seashells with Sam haha. Thanks so much for sharing. Wasn't able to get a picture of Shelby from eye to eye level so if you have the chance to send me that style photo I'd so enjoy it to draw (I hope you don't think I'm weird asking, maybe I shouldn't ask.) Love watching your cottage transform so beautifully, real people creating new lives for themselves - it's so positive.

Never been there. Been to Rhyl a very long time ago. Shelby looked like she was enjoying herself, that's for sure. Chippy grub looked nice.
Rhyl wasn't for us, but we will be going back to Prestatyn. Shelby was born to be on beaches lol. The chip shop chips were like rubber, the reveiws Samantha went by were worthless.
Ahhh.. Shelby loved the beach. I miss that. 😢 Yes, Samantha wasn't letting you near that ice cream mate. lol.
I am sure that beach video brings back both sad but equally happy memories for you both. You are right there, she was holding on tight to that ice cream mate, wished I had bought one afterwards lol.

I read pontins were looking at hosting illegal immigrants, but it wasn't used in the end. Yes, it gets bad press for a good reason. 👍 dogs and sand eh lol ironically im off to Mablethorpe soon, lol fish n chips looked good!
Ah right, such a shame to see it so run down. Samantha saw some cleaners there, so they may be trying to keep on top of things ahead of a reopening. Mablethorpe, I will keep eyes open for that video for sure, we used to have our static caravan there until a few years go, be good to see the old place once again Lee.
