The new antagonist who was revealed at the end of the trailer is *another* Dungeons & Dragons character named "Vecna." Stranger Things has a unique show style where they use the D&D (and the start of a season) to foreshadow the future enemies. Dungeons & Dragons foreshadowed the Mind Flayer and Demogorgons, and now it foreshadowed Vecna.

Max's older brother, Billy, sacrificed himself to "kill" the Mind Flayer. Hopper also sacrificed himself to destroy/shut off the portal machine that the Russians made. Although, he didn't actually die, and ended up as a worker in Russia. That basically summarizes the end of Season 3.

I just looked it up and from one of the thumbnails I can already tell it's true😮 I'm not sure how I feel about this😢, it's the same way when I found out inception and black swan were inspired by anime. Not that I don't like anime but these are great movies so I was hoping they were mostly original works
I usually like to wait until something drops before I make a claim, but I'm calling it now. This season is about to be so hard!!! I definitely think it's going to live up to the hype. The music was perfect. The guitar scene was sick! I think Billy is playing an important role this season either as a specter/ghost or from the Upside Down. Whatever's going on with Max is about to be ill. And man, I'm just too stoked that they got the legendary Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) in here!!!
