This morning I thought. If everyone is experiencing a unique and highly personalized life experience, and that each nuanced second is moving them towards healing and awakening, with exquisite and mysterious perfection then we have to be mindful of how we subtly attack another person's journey. If we declare that, 99.9 % of therapists are getting it wrong, then this is a subtle and not so subtle attack on another's healing path. We simply do not have the capacity to judge what is right or wrong in the world. We can only experience our own healing journey, which may or may not involve consciously joining in with others and their healing. But as soon as we say I am right with my understanding of how healing works we are actually attacking the world. What we could say is, "my perception of how healing and awakening works, is but tiny and limited insight as to what's possible, but I have no idea what works for others or their unique journey through life" Question.. if we are awakening. What are we awakening from, and what are we awakening into. If we use the language of awakening, then that implies we are sleeping. How do we know we are sleeping. On and on it goes, twirling into the void.
Another way of looking at life's problems. How about considering that everything is essentially working towards healing right now, everything. That each person's life is a unique and exquisitely tailored experience for them and them alone. Awakening is certain. Knowing that healing and awakening are inevitable, allows for a tremendous release of pressure. Life is done through us not by us. It takes complexity out of healing and awakening. This is a kind of surrender to a greater intelligence. Which means we simply cannot judge another's path to healing. In a sense everything is perfect on planet earth just as it is, we have no capacity to judge it otherwise. Everything is healing perfectly right now. It is what it is.
