Brilliant you two, practically explained. Consider interviewing Bill Plotkin, he'll take it into wildman, greenman, sidhe. We shine on, or we die, to mentor self, the current need/lacking - is role models surrounding. The start, cell dowsing, not fracking. Thanks for the half full cast, uisce beatha, singing out, James Last.

I'd LOVE to interview Plotkin. If you know him put in a good word!

40:09 the answer, is also a metta practice. This is known for hundreds of years. You can't just do mindfulness. You need to connect yourself in relation to others.
The hallmark of spiritual development being depression happens less when you also work with metta

I find the focus on creating money though this practice quite strange. As if they've missed one of the fundamental issues that affects spiritual development - right livelihood. The idea of going into this with a motivation to have a 6 figure practice, starts to demonstrate their intention and focus and I think it's one that will hold them back unless that practice includes generously sharing (a sharing that isn't motivated by "growing my brand", or some other such thing).

It's a tricky one fusing spiritual awakening/practice into and as a business. I've been in and around the Findhorn Foundation for about 40 years, the idea is nothing new. My perception is that most of the time it's actually self help techniques and understanding packaged as Spirituality. The other problem is semantics, words like ego, spirituality, consciousness etc get bounded around as if there is consensus on what these words actually mean. Thus they are reduced to jargon at best but often just gobbledygook. There has always been an attempt to spin the cannibalistic aspect of capitalism, and so attempting to spiritualise capitalism is an obvious manoeuvre. Lipstick on a corpse comes to mind. Not that I think capitalism is worse than any other attempt to organise labour and services. The most powerful spiritual people I have met have often been the most private about their practice and this quiet, sustained practice infused every aspect of their being and decision making.. Talking about Jedi, Vader was the most interesting as he did not deny his shadow and finally integrated it. The regular jedi seem to be lofty, puritanical creeps who were happy to control others minds if need be... Peace
