People been negative about this album coz they looking for bubble gum rap, this is real music, this artistry, this is creativity. I appreciate Kdot for this and love your reactions, can't wait for you to do the whole thing, one by one. The songs each deserve special attention, so I can't wait

I can already tell this album is going to be one of those for me where the more I listen to it the more I appreciate it. He’s a true artist for real.

There are a lot of different vibes on it. I’m about 3/4 way through it on my own so far and stopped to watch a few reactions. Only one track I’m not fond of so far but I won’t say which one it is because I don’t want to interfere with anyones opportunity to experience it for themselves. Enjoy✌️

Lol I guess (?) But don’t get it twisted. Just because I’m a white woman it doesn’t mean that I can’t be a true fan of rap and especially of the poetic lyricism and storytelling of one of my all-time favorite artists, Kendrick Lamar. He seeks to unite and so do I.

Yeah I never understand when reactors do a new album in it's entirety on day one. Like I get if you're excited to hear it, then just record each individual reaction that first day... And space out how you edit and upload, that formula seems so simple. Then you get content for days instead of throwing a lot at your audience to digest day one. Everyone wants to get it done FIRST though, but if we really support how you react, then you're real ones tuning in.

I'm gonna be honest with you Stevie this is the first Kendrick album I've listened to and I'm on my third trip and you can just tell he's put his whole soul and everything into this.. I've legit teared up two or three times just listening to the pain he's gone through in his life.. Thank you so much for putting me onto Kendrick like this.. Yes I've heard his bangers and hits but never really sat down and fucked with one of his whole albums (Definitely going to listen to all of them) thank you again hope you enjoy it as much as I did 🙏✌.

This album is dense - quite amused to see people saying they're disappointed in it when it's not even been out for 24 hours.
Makes me think of Jay Z on Renegade "do you people listen to music or do you just skim through it".
Going to take me a hell of a lot of listens to comes close to fully understanding all the themes running through the album.
    Kdot is different!

exactly, we're not hearing any new music from this man for at LEAST 3-4 years so just let it simmer, live with it. this morning I woke up and first thing I did was to play the album while reading comments and I swear people were calling it mid while the album was out for 4 hours. yikes.

It can be the sound of some songs not being pleasing to the ears first listen. But that should change for most people. On my first listen there were a few songs that just didn’t sound right and I was like damn, I kno he’s lyrically waking us up but I can’t see myself going back to these to vibe out to. It just hits different now though after a few listens and understanding the message more actually made the song not sound weird anymore. That’s why I don’t comment my opinions until I go thru a album a few times.
