- Okay!! So for those who don't know, it's Full Metal Alchemist Never forget week!

I just love this series, and I think it's such a fun idea!!
Vic Mignogna posted up a video encouraging fans to do something in tribute of this awesome event! So this is what I wanted to do, the english version of Bratja!

Fullmetal Alchemist are probably the saddest anime I've ever seen the brother's backstory is just too perfect and I felt a connection to these characters more resonant than any before.

Just found this version, and it's by far my favorite version! Unfortunately it's not on Spotify/Soundcloud, so i can't add it to my favorite songs. But all in all i really love this cover and keep singing in the future, because it would be a wasted talent if you didn't.

Why doesn't Vic sing that part in his version? Was it just cut out of the song or something? I'm confused. You have a great voice though, btw. :)
I think since Brothers is meant to be a duet between both Ed and Al maybe Vic thought the song would sound strange in the absense of Aaron Dismuke (the voice of Al) because he didn't want to sing for this song. So maybe Vic thought Ed singing Al's part wouldn't sound right so maybe that's why it was cut.

Alas is an expression of grief, pity, or concern. So, in the context of the song, “But alas ‘twas not to be”, is basically an expression that signifies Ed grieving about his mistake and his mothers death. I hope this answers your question.

Brotherhood had a very rushed start which wasn't nearly as good as the original but it had a way better and more satisfying ending.

As native speaker of russan and a bit speaking english, can say two things: voice are good, but translation (adaptation) of lyrics very weak. Depth of original missing.
