But they still ended up with roles that was perfect for them. And the person who did the casting didn't forget about them either even after a few years had passed and called them as soon as they heard of role suited to their talents perfectly. Technically I do know who person is, you do too if you go back and watch the video the names of each person who was doing the casting name was mentioned. Like how Chris Pratt was mentioned to James Gunn.

This proves that the Directors know their movies and are good judge of character most of the times! The Directors and Story-Writers know their characters well!! Couldn't imagine anyone else in the roles of their respective colleagues!! Everyone had a perfect role and they've performed it awesomely!
I think what was meant is, that Sebastian Stans a bit too dark interpretation of Captain America in the casting fits the role of the Winter Soldier better. Bucky wasn't the Winter Soldier in the first CA movie, but that they casted Stan as Bucky with him playing the Winter Soldier in the next movie in mind. Which makes totally sense in my opinion.

It never ceases to amaze me how amazing Marvel is at their casting. It really is impossible to see anyone else in the majority of these roles, especially the headliners, RDJ as T. Stark, Chris Evans as Cap, Chris Pratt as Starlord. Honestly is there a role more perfect for Pratt than Starlord? The best in my mind though is Chadwick Boseman as T'Chala and Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange. These two characters are so powerful and are played so well by these men it really makes the movies.
What gets me mad is no one acknowledges where Pratt actually started, on Everwood. Yes its from 2002 - 2006, but it was a great show. It was a drama too. I knew he was a good actor before I knew he was funny.

Basically, the Marvel’s casting crew and their executives didn’t just want actors. They wanted actors who’s real life personalities & vibes resemble that of the characters they’re each playing. This is why you see so many ppl comment: “Omg, RDJ acts just like Tony irl!!!”

did you know that chris hemsworth almost didnt get the part of thor. he auditioned and they said no at first but he could be a good back up. after they said that his little brother liam hemsworth auditioned for the role but they said he was too young and so chris auditioned again and got the role

Basically, the Marvel’s casting crew and their executives didn’t just want actors. They wanted actors who’s real life personalities & vibes resemble that of the characters they’re each playing.
