- This is the die filer Harold Hall has on his website if you wish to make it. The great thing about this die filer is that it also has a variable stroke mechanism which was fun to make and we are using diamond files which work well for small amounts to be removed. We hope you find this fun.

hi thanks for sub...this was a great build and a nice side project. Hope you enjoy the vids...next build is a triple compound engine .....it may take a long time
That’s brilliant job I’m just getting used to all the attachments you can add to my Super7
harold halls web site is well worth a look www.homews.co.uk/page44.html
@@modelengineeringadventures I will have a look thank you
I jus watched the build on a die filer that Blondiehacks has just finished. But that is stand alone. Yours is very novel. I like it. Well done.
Regards.
Steve.
that's very kind steve glad you are feeling better and I'm very much enjoying the hit and miss engine
@@modelengineeringadventures Well thank you for the kind words. Hope you are both keeping well.
Regards.
Steve.
If I lived in North America I'd consider the one Blondihacks built - it's a good design. But shipping to NZ would be crazy expensive, and I don't think that design is enough better to warrant the extra cost. I've built a couple of Mr. Hall's design and rate his books very highly. This is on my to-build list.
Just found your channel and Subscribed. Very nice work.
The book you recommended does not have the Die Filer plans in it. I trusted that the plans were in Book 39 as shown and ordered it. It cost me $17 for nothing. Very disappointing….
sorry to hear this ..this should help www.homews.co.uk/page477.html
