I am learning to be a better engineer every day and have a bucket full of mistakes that have taught me everything.

Fantastic work !
I have built all the Stuart range but this one I shyly stood back from knowing what it takes congratulations you are going to complete it all, I am a retired bricklayer love the content thanks for posting
Bellissimo lavoro!!!! I tuoi video sono davvero fantastici ed esaustivi. Bravo👏👏👏
Nice smooth action - means your set ups were good. Thanks for showing the mic stand. Very nice - I can see the benefit there. 👍
your latest video was a great lesson for patience
Because the video was so long and tedious to watch? 😃
That will be quite the machine when done. Very nice indeed.
Great job so far, Thats a good point about O rings, my triple has taken a lot of running in due to the pistion rings, Best Wishes James
Thank you, James... a lot more to do as you will know. there are long build
you've done a great job Andy so far👍👍👍👍 like you say, always adhere to the drawings one little incremental changa has a knock on effect. see you next time atb Kev
your spot on with that comment
The whole project is looking fantastic Andy. Steve.
Thanks Steve
Now do one like the Bentley commercial meme. Gently touch it at beautiful places and whisper "myford" everytime.
Ah that is sad. I love the Myford lathes
i love them too rusty but i have plans for the space
❤
great assett for someone, many are abused not just usual age related wear, it's good to get one of known value. should get snapped up Andy. atb Kev
I hope really it went to a really enthusiastic person. I have plans for the space
NICE!
you have some lovely engines on your channel iIhave subscribed
@@modelengineeringadventures Thank you, Sir!
Good price for that setup. I’d buy if I lived over there.
Thanks for sharing 👍
What's Betty being replaced with?
she was replaced with a myford connoisseur last year
That will get someone started very well indeed.
it got me started very well too
Would love to have that but shipping would be prohibitive :)
That's a shame...bit big for hand luggage
That flywheel looks great. Very nice work sir
the wig wag is looking good...you will have so much fun when it runs
I made one of those collets for my last flywheel. 😊 That triple is an intricate beastie. It’s all coming together very well indeed.
nicely done Andy another part of the jigsaw in place👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂😉😉 regards Kev
Love the collet ❤
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Nice camera angles in this video - gives some really good close up views.
i only use an iphone work 99% ok
Surprisingly good cameras to be honest. I was always pleased with the results from my iphone.
Wow. I have an old set of castings, and the pump body is net size with a smooth finish; only the bore and faces need machining. Stuart quality has come down quite a bit over the years. Great job making something nice out of a rough start.
have a go at making it there a great build
Nice job, it's good when you can complete an assembly.
Thanks Barry
Like you said Andy a model in it's own rights nice one👍👍 atb Kev
The condenser is an integral part of a full-scale steam plant. It adds to the power output of the engine by putting negative pressure (vacuum) on the exhaust side of the piston, just as the boiler puts positive pressure on the other side. Most of them operate by flash-cooling the spent steam with a constant spray of cold water.
great info
The vacuum in the condenser is created by the condensing steam. The vacuum pump is required to remove all the non-condensable, such as air. Otherwise they will build-up in the condenser reduce the vacuum.
great info
Your attention to detail is remarkable , and the close tolerances is also amazing.
thank you Anthony I am working hard on that
Fantastic little build. Is that engineer talk for easier than I expected? 😅
well only just lol
Wow! The work that goes into each component is impressive!!
Nice work Andrew. Shiny too. Steve.
One of the things that my CNC mill is good at, expansion links! Good on you for doing it manually!
😍Super work, the detail is 👌
👍👏👏
So, which way to set it to full speed ahead for ramming speed?
Very nice work sir. It’s coming along nicely now.
cheers rusty
well done👍
just for you Paul
@@modelengineeringadventures thx😁
Good job 👍 Andy. I definitely have to remember it.
glad you found it useful
certainly giving the rotary table a workout Andy Nice One😄😄👍👍👍👍👍👍 atb Kev
I do like using it. An amazing tool
@@modelengineeringadventures In the long run I need to get one. Right now I am doing unnatural things with my lathe.
Takes huge skill to make something like that, well done
many thanks, Derek, hope you enjoy the playlist and further episodes
nice rotary table work there Andy. Next challenge is the small bent slide blocks to match😁
similar setup paul
Well made Andrew. Nice one. Steve.
Fabulous work, well done
Thank you Derek
Parts look really good. Nice work. Making these without a rotary table, that would be a real challenge :)
In the past, the masters would have done it with files as they did to make the first camshafts
@@modelengineeringadventures Absolutely.
So you have now done the uppyy downyy bits The roundyyyyy roundyyy things now the Backyyyy and forewardyyyy things all 3 XYZ axis!!!!
what would you like to see nextyyyyy
Thanks for sharing 👍
Spot on Andy they look great,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 as for the drill breakage, anyone who's never made a mistake has never done anything onwards and upwards atb Kev
Very interesting to watch that being made - Cheers Jim
