Yea I’m convinced.. V6’s sound their best catless with shorty headers. If you run longtubes you need cats or extra resonators to deaden the rasp & drone. Good job. Sounds amazing!

It sounds awesome! One of the best sounding S550 V6 Mustangs I've seen. Mine just has the Flowmaster Outlaw series exhaust. Sounds somewhat similar but he got me beat I think. lol

Sure thing. My 14 3.7 only has a bama performance race tune, Airaid CAI, and the Borla Atak Catback so far. I'll most likely get the bbk longtube headers. I'm not too sure the shorties would make much of a difference sound wise
Tony Hernandez if you like raspyness then go with long tubes but if you want a deep tone and controlled the definitely go with bbk shorties plus the give you more torque and the 3.7 lacks on that bro so I recommend shorties

answer a couple questions. first, car has 3.15s. best 0 to 60 at this point is 4.9 at sea level. all the videos accept the drag racing is shot at 4000ft. the mufflers are magnaflow knock offs, 18 long, 4 diameter.

PALEHORSE I think all manuals are are a rarity. The percentage of manuals to autos is ridiculously tiny and the amount of cars you can get in manual is shrinking everyday. I don't know if it will be a classic because everybody has a hard on for V8s but I happen to love the V6. Sue me

PALEHORSE yeah...a 6spd MT s550 v6 is hella rare. almost all are AT. had to search inventory in my whole state and found a few. i wanted blue bit there wasnt a single MT in the state in that color at that time

Maybe you should chat with some real tuners. Trust me it took a while to get tork motorsports exposed for false canned tune and blowing up engines. And with MPT blowing a bunch of engines not a good sign.
Listen, I can't speak about ecoboosts or turbo cars. I don't know anything about them. When it comes to the 3.7 Mustang engine, MPT is the best. That's all I can tell you. I've been racing cars for 10 years and been to dyno shops.. I haven't seen anyones dyno tuned 3.7 run any better than a datalogged email tune for that engine. Bama blows engines on the 3.7, not MPT.
3SevenStangVids if mpt is best why do the people on the forum complaine about stutters, dead spots and eventually trade in for a 5.0 when MPT does not fix any issues that are reported to them? That is not the best. A tuner is suppose to listen the the owner of the car and fix issues. I personally have 25 to 28 revisions to my tune mostly because of engine swap and part installs. But a custom tune is always better then a canned tune. If they offer ONLY canned tunes they are not real tuners.

ford used the same gauges on all s550s...probably to save money. i shift at 7...to 7200.

PappyOmar You don't really want to rev higher than that in neutral. High revs not in gear are very hard on the engine
