I like this film very much. The English and pace are wonderful. My slight criticism is of the narrative which seems to be coloured by political and social claims which in my humble opinion are not the focus of Ganesh Pine's work. The narrator says " ancients faith and religion gives no solace," yet the depths of the work derive from a journey into this world and not one of economics and social strife. The opening scene conveying the ancient alleyway as a metaphor for a dream state of consciousness is jolted by a dominant red hammer and sickle. Thereby symbolically a sign distinct and totally incorrect digression from the street the painter took.
