Fat Mike is my motherfuckin' hero. Brilliant songwriter, bass player and business dude. Friendly, too. I ran into him and Soma a few times when I lived in dtLA - they were always so cool about photos and chattin' about bands, bars and their dungeon. They are very proud of their dungeon.
you are absolutely right on! fat mike burkett is the. coolest, smartest and independent dude in the entire flailing (to use his line) industry. and like him, his bands,or his label or not. he deserves mad props for keeping punk not only elite but alive. Mike Burkett you are my hero as well!
Hey dude just getting ready to re-watch the musical, I always watch the film to the end, band is tight as hell, and sound is amazing, the characters are my fav other than the music, being a gutter punk myself, lol. It's just so real!!! It's nice You point out the beauty in the streets. Hope your year sober works out buddy, love you guy!!
I'm a former street punk kid. Hell I'm still a street punk kid, since I still look like a 9th grader lol and still have the childish humor I always had :P Anyway, love the idea, good luck guys. Can't wait to see it!
If he has the money to do everything he can think of that he wants then let him do it !!!! I see no harm in achieving more in one lifetime than most do in one.
I think that is exactly the crowd there looking for(broadway type). They want people to take there play seriously in a fashion that its what they've personally been through, with some added comedy. Some times you have to shake up the old fashion style play with something more modern and diff..no matter what type of crowd watches it. If you feel pashion towards plays and understand them as a art you can appreciate all types no matter what.
Wow...What a cool project! I always knew Fat Mike could put in hard-work. Give him enough beer and coke and I'm sure he'd put Shakespeare to shame! lol!
I peed next to Fat Mike in the VIP lounge on Warped Tour. That was how playing Warped Tour began for me... I showed up, I peed next to Fat Mike, I jammed out in front of a couple hundred kids... It was rad...
This is the least punk thing ive ever see in my life, 'fat mike' has exploited punk for 20 years. i often wonder if cartoon punks even understand what punk means beyond a mohawk and dressing like a text book punk rocker. i listened to punk rock/emo/etc in the 90's (and always will) and it made me the person i am today, when i look at the punk scene now it makes me cringe, i dress like an average guy, no dodgy tattoos and even enjoy one direction with the kids, but this doesn't make me less punk than a stereotype punk and not still have my 'punk' ideals, don't forget punk is a state of mind not a genre of music.
'i listened to punk rock/emo/etc'??? No self-respecting punk (or self-disrespecting, as it were) would ever dream of using a sentence like this, so nice try - you managed to criticize Fat Mike as 'not being punk enough', and still not make it the shittiest thing in your comment.
ChelseaFan John I always wanted to be the guy who puts the plastic thing (aglets) on the ends of shoe laces. Now I just watch punk vids and docs on youtube. Replaced by a machine before I ever got going.
very ambitious! Good thing musicals like avenue Q and Book of Mormon have paved the way for racy musicals! Otherwise I think this would have flopped no matter what. Cant wait for part 2 to see how things go!
@timwins31 That's exactly what I think when I see people on TH-cam getting really involved in their favorite youtubers' relationships... it's so fucking cringy to read. Take Pewdiepie and his gf for example, years upon years his moronic kid followers wouldn't stop commenting under his videos that featured his gf shit like "when are you going to propose already?" "you look so cute together, get married" and so on. So fucking stupid. They don't even know the dude, but watching him for years implanted some twisted idea in their brain that they're friends with him lmao
Watch this after you watch the play, it’s way more interesting when you know the characters. The only down side was that it TRYS REALLY REALLY hard to be offensive, almost as if Mike just made a list of all the most disgusting things in the world & plugged them in, one after the other.
Too bad that there are good songs but this musical was kinda awful. Like the mom of the group being together with a 16 year old girl and no one questions that is kinda like wtf
Look, don't talk shit about stuff you don't know about. I'm a huge GD and nofx fan, but I'm not a fanboy and I'm realistic about both bands. And I've seen the GD musical and the Broadway idiot documentary, and American Idiot simply seems much much better...And this really is an objective and biased opinion.
"They spent 2 weeks working out the kinks" Fat Mike has been working out his kinks for like 30 years.

King Complex hero? Jesus fucking Christ lmao....so sad
king complex I ran in to him twice while living in DTLA. Once at Pete's once at Engine Company #28.... He was super cool.
actually he's kinda known as one of the biggest dickheads in Punk these days but ok...
As both a musical theater fan, and a punk rock fan, I'm VERY excited about this.
you can really hear Tony Sly in the songs.
Why did this only play for twelve days in SF? This show deserves to be seen by the world!
Jilling off would have totally worked. I used it not to long ago in a few conversations and everyone got it.
I wasn't familiar with that term before recently, but it's hot!
"Treat me a princess and like dirt" "ahh that's great that's great "
Lol hahhaha. That part made me laugh hard too
"I mean, don't make a meal out of it" (Fat Mike cracks up in the backround).
does anyone know the name of this song 2:02 or the name of the girl?
Can't find it anywhere. Shame as its damn catchy!
Vicious Affection
@@sebas-qq9sm thanks man! Really great song!
can someone tell me the name of the song on 2:23 ?
Hey dude just getting ready to re-watch the musical, I always watch the film to the end, band is tight as hell, and sound is amazing, the characters are my fav other than the music, being a gutter punk myself, lol. It's just so real!!! It's nice You point out the beauty in the streets. Hope your year sober works out buddy, love you guy!!
Why this video is so relaxing
My reaction to Richard Israel around the 5:40 mark was the same as Mike’s. Lol. Funny
I can't wait to never see this shit.
Im Brad I thought I was the only one...
+Im Brad yeah all that effort what are they gonna do with it?
I can't wait for you to never write this comment.
Can't wait until you pass the age of 28.
It's about as good as anything by fat mike. Decent if you aren't paying much attention to it.
Where's the school that teaches one how to unironically write the words 'work out the kinks' in a report about HSH?
What's the name of the song at 2:25 "treat me like a princess and like dirt, I've taken all her pain before, but I've never been so hurt"
A scrapped song.
Name 2:03 ?
"Hi! I'm Matt Skiba. I play in a band called Blink-182."
I'm a former street punk kid. Hell I'm still a street punk kid, since I still look like a 9th grader lol and still have the childish humor I always had :P Anyway, love the idea, good luck guys. Can't wait to see it!
Did it ever come out
@@RSparrow3936 Yes and it's on youtube. Its pretty good TBH.
Chris cheney from living end is the guitarist for the show band. Main reason I'm watching this..
Probably one of the best guitarists in punk rock. Too bad most Americans wouldn't know who he is.
5:50 is fat mike laughing at the dude in plaid? Lol
If there is any way to view this full musical on screen, I would settle for that.
0:03 i really love that
In the scenes where they were rehearsing was the girl who played sue playing trashley?
Never been a punk so rich
If he has the money to do everything he can think of that he wants then let him do it !!!! I see no harm in achieving more in one lifetime than most do in one.
When's part II coming out? I really want to see elderly's reactions.
Watching that lead actress getting spanked is mighty fine.
Yeah but then when mike got spanked 😩💦💦
I really enjoyed this. Soma is one terrific lady.
chrisbacos indeed, I was trying to make out what smiths shirt she was wearing early in the video, looks capital..
the whole musical was uploaded to youtube where did it go?
Instant crassic

Fizzy Lemons yup 2 jews
I think you mean h3h3 is like fat mike
I'm glad I'm not the only who thought this
I'm sorry I missed this. It looks awesome.
where is Trappy Atlanta?
5 minute story in a half an hour means = MIKE WAS ON A FUCKTON OF SPEED haha
When is part two coming?
The elderly disapproval at the end was hilarious. This is awesome

Ive been in love with NOFX since i was in highschool this band opened me up into a whole new realm of musical style and passion
Anyone know what hoodie Fat Mike is wearing?
This Remi girl sings so good, how come she's not in the musical? Who's she?
Wow...What a cool project! I always knew Fat Mike could put in hard-work. Give him enough beer and coke and I'm sure he'd put Shakespeare to shame! lol!
Is sreet punks and skater punks are the same ?
........wow.........i must see this show..fucking love nofx, the end of that video, those peoples faces..priceless
Matt skiba wearing a Hamilton Tiger cats shirt !?!?

I need to know the name of the girl in blue at the beginning
@Justine Magnusson hi Justine.
Mike handles drugs like someone who hasn't taken any drugs until he was 40. Wait...
I was happy to see Skiba there! Very cool!
Just saw it and it's pretty rad.
I wanna see the show.. where can i Find the full show?
This Musical is so close to reality. IT IS scary.
5:44 fat mike is laughing at that dude
Just great. Period.
As far as I've been believed, Punk rock has absolutely nothing to do with porno
jilling off is awesome!😂🍻
This is the guy who kicks a guy in the head with a boot but asks to break even and takes a sandal to the shin. This guy is lam3
What is Scott sturgeon was on here also. He wouldent ever do it but just imagine
that would be great. he could throw donuts at Skiba while he's dressed like an evil cop :)
Yup.
Yes!I'm finally a musicals are for my generation. Thanks Fat Mike!
I peed next to Fat Mike in the VIP lounge on Warped Tour. That was how playing Warped Tour began for me... I showed up, I peed next to Fat Mike, I jammed out in front of a couple hundred kids... It was rad...
Wow Fat Mike is extraordinary creative
i don't get it
It's a musical guys, this is how musicals sound. It's not going to be unintelligible yelling over four power chords.
WHYEEEEEEE NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWT?????!!!!!??
Cowicide just a different style and I appreciate both
Matt Skabububu! :D

dam thats the truth! i totally agree with your logic...punk IS a state of mind..something kids nowadays will never understand
'i listened to punk rock/emo/etc'??? No self-respecting punk (or self-disrespecting, as it were) would ever dream of using a sentence like this, so nice try - you managed to criticize Fat Mike as 'not being punk enough', and still not make it the shittiest thing in your comment.
I find your comment pretty contradicting. but nice effort.
fat mike likes money and strap ons more than music. It shows

soma gets on my nerves. i wish it was still mike and erin.

Fat Mike and Yoko. Don't let her fuck up the band too...
jilling was so much better then jacking, always go with the real talent
Dominatrix Mikey!
The decline on stage would have been better
My favorite part.... mike: yeah that sounds great.... yeah great
You know because he sounds like shit
Jilling-off was definitely funnier.
Matt skiba? Didn't expect that.
jilling off..lol Mike's a legit genius..talented writer and musician
What is this noncence, this is de music of the futur?
Jilling off? Jacking Off? Jack & Jill.. I got it. Shouldn't of changed that it was funny!
the man co-created and co-destroyed punk rock in one lifetime what's not to love
That was the sex pistols, in the uk.
Who looked up "Rubber Bordello"
Watch this after you watch the play, it’s way more interesting when you know the characters. The only down side was that it TRYS REALLY REALLY hard to be offensive, almost as if Mike just made a list of all the most disgusting things in the world & plugged them in, one after the other.
This is either going to be amazing or complete garbage. I'm hoping for amazing.
Embarrassing
Fucking great :-) love this
❤ Skiba
Please say this is a spoof video soon!
Fuck guess I was wrong about these guys , oh well just 20 years of fuckin up then...turn up the penny wise
Safe Words is great once. It's a XXX Weird Al song. Twice is too many times. Over it.
Its a musical about a guy who lives in a mansion
Is this a joke?
Wait how did Lauren Patten become Trashly???
Too bad that there are good songs but this musical was kinda awful. Like the mom of the group being together with a 16 year old girl and no one questions that is kinda like wtf
fat mike rulzzz
hearing her call him michael is so fucking weird lmao
SKIBA!
I really only watch this video to see Justine get spanked in that blue sweater... just so you all know...
i volunteered backstage at a theatre and made out with one of the actresses in the intermission , another guy there was on community service
THE END
Да не похож на него, Гительман
They're a cute couple tho
This is a joke right
Not sure how you could do the same boring shit for so many years hahaha
So he's going the Green Day route? If the band starts wearing eyeliner, then I'm burning my NOFX CDs.
TheSuburban15 Too late.
lol melvin
Actually, I've watched American Idiot and this is far worse
GreenDay did some crybaby bullshit in comparison. Fuck you
