hi my friend, I have the possibility to get the fx3, the latest Sony a7rv, and this canon r5, if you have the choice which one you would get? keeping in mind the problems that comes from canon r5 according to your experience, the MacBook Pro M1 Max can handle the files (time line in video editing) the 4k hq? it is a problem for video that limit of 30 min of recording?
Hello! In my opinion, you have to look at your needs and wants. If you’re looking for a pure video camera, I’d definitely go with the FX3. If you’re looking for a hybrid, you’re looking at really great choices. I don’t regret the R5 especially since it’s latest update, I never get an overheating warning at all anymore when I record with it but not saying it won’t at some point. I have my personal bias towards canon because I love how the pictures and videos come right out of camera. Also M1 Max is more than enough to handle 4 HQ (I film mainly this). I actually already have a video on the M1 Max MacBook Pro in which I talk about all these situations if you want to check it out! Hope this helps!
No longer a problem with the newest update. I try to keep my conditions ideal though so unless you have a dedicated fan like the R5C or FX3 you’ll always have the risk of overheating.
Ok, quite interested by the Nomad leather and especially how much it works with black lugs. But the video is so fast, lightning is not perfect, I didn’t manage to see much…
Great review! I have the Trail Loop in black/gray and really like it. It closes with really secure Velcro and dries really quickly. I think it’s a good option for those who are active, but not climbing a mountain or some super sport. 😁

I change my Apple Watch strap probably once a year when I get my new Apple Watch try out the new band and for my older watch bands I give them away like my old iPhone cases and apple devices in general

How does the comfort/feel of the horween leather strap from nomad compare to the comfort of the regular leather strap from nomad?
I’d say the horween one is more “smoother” and definitely is noticeable how much nicer the appearance of the leather is.
