At 1:55 they were sailing on a broad reach (normal and fastest vmg-downwind in the 49er) which can also be recognized at the hoisted kite, so that was a gybe and as 49er skiffs sail faster then the wind it seems like a tack

great vid, hey question, before you tacked/Gybed at 1:55, were you sailing close hauled or at a reach? I ask because before the tack the wind is coming from the right. the boat was turned left and the wind looked like it was coming from the left. How could this be? Unless the winds changed that quickly. Sorry i am learning. Thanks

Are you sure? I think this is not caused by fog but saltwater, which dried on the lense...
