- I love a snowscene. We don't get that much snow, though - not where I live anyway.
Not that it really makes a difference; if I fancy painting or drawing a snowscene, then I can generally conjure one up from from my imagination.
This is a pencil sketch, where I explore turning a photograph taken in the summer into a wintery snowscene.

I have started doing my first winter scene of the season. A Cottage in a wintery landscape at Sunrise. I have just used masking fluid on the roof top of said cottage. The cottage is not too far away from Ennerdale Water, local to me and beautiful landscape any season. Great Sketch Peter...

@@peterwoolleyartist South Cumbria has been hit with snow, but the North West Lakes have missed out on it, although there is snow on the high tops..
@@dandy193 Yeah... I saw that in the news this morning. We have snow in West Yorkshire, but not nearly as much as Cumbria. Thanks for the update...
