This is what I’m talking about! THANK YOU sooo much for putting in the title that it’s the Seven Day guy. It allows me to mentally prepare for idiocy if I am able to handle it, and to avoid the video if my mental health cannot cope that day.
You know who it is the moment you read the title, and you know word for word how the discussion goes and can fill in the cuts with what insults he used. He's a broken record
You just can't follow his philosophy..see if you multiply the diorama of the platypus plus add the diligence of tapioca then it's all gravy baby. Terry understands.....lol...yeah he's a fool
I'm not sure which is more unbelievable, that he hasnt been banned on every show by now, or that he hasn't gotten bored with his own 7 days schtick yet.
It was really telling when he called in skeptalk and he mentioned all the people he's called and said he never got the "appropriate reaction". He's fully convinced he found a magic bullet argument and will not accept any push back
To the Talk Heathen crew: Stop platforming this individual. He has been calling shows *for years now*. He says the same things over and over. He does not engage with what anyone says. He always deflects, and always gaslights. Stop platforming him. You are either feeding his ego, feeding his mental illness, or he is trolling.
@@bobbylee_ The hosts knew who he was when he brought up the 7 day week comment in his first engagement. They should have called him out right then for the deception and cut him off.
@@SSJ3MewtwoThey clipped his wings and shut him down too quickly for it to be considered platforming. I’ve listened to calls with callers like him go on for over half an hour. That’s platforming.
They do this with a lot of clearly sane adjacent callers. It borders on the unethical. There is no value to be had in these conversations. But they like the content.
@@asyetundeterminedBordering on the unethical falls completely on the caller not the hosts. The hosts aren’t calling in to shows and lying to the call screener. They didn’t play cat and mouse games, they kept the caller on topic and immediately pointed out the multiple errors in his assertions. There is great value in that.
P1 If Jesus can show Universal Sovereignty that makes him god - No P2 He did by predicting the 7 day week - This isn't really much of a prediction, and the verses Terry uses suggests a lunar calendar, despite how much he whines and pretends it doesn't in other calls. C - rejected because P1 and P2 fail.
So this argument was not viable until 1900 years later when technology started forcing global time keeping in to a corner where it was going to be very inconvenient for different lands to use different basic standards for a calender.
Literally every person who tries to make prophecies does so using the knowledge of their time and basis it in their own culture. If this is the main metric we're judging it by to "prove" universal sovereignty, that'll apply to most people who made prophecies throughout history.
“It shall be” means the prophecy hasn’t been fulfilled yet. Which means… the prophecy can’t be used to demonstrate Jesus power because the prophecy hasn’t been fulfilled yet. And Burma still doesn’t use a seven day week.
Let's break this down. From the King James version: "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." - Isaiah 66:23 "And it shall come to pass" said by God himself. So I'm fine with calling this a prophecy. "that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another" So if the sabbath to sabbath is a prediction of the 7 day week then the new moon to new moon must be a prediction of lunar months. The only reason he picks one and not the other is because 7 day weeks are near universal but only a few groups use a lunar calendar. "shall all flesh come to worship before me" this part is clearly the prophecy. The bit about new moons and sabbaths is just a way to say that worshiping him will happen every day. But at no point in history have all humans worshiped the Christian god. I'm comfortable saying it will never happen barring some event that wipes out most of humanity. And that ignores that if you want to take it literally all animals need to worship the Christian god too. Having heard his calls before I knew his justification was weak but knowing the actual verse he's using it's even worse than I had imagined.
He likes to think he is serving something delicious and of substance, but as always it is empty calories & junk. He ignores any contention & is condescending with literally everyone. And it's honestly such a weak argument for God. It doesn't prove his sovereignty like he claims. I posit it proves that the author of that was a psychic & foresaw the seven day week. And they added it to make the narrative more compelling in the future. And that's more likely than a God which requires far more assumptions. Not to mention it a flat out assertion that the seven day week is universal to all cultures. It's not, but to the extent it is, maybe King Sargon I & Constantine are showing their sovereignty over mankind since they're heavily responsible for the seven day week. My main issue is that there's no way to link us using a SDC with a God sovereignty, not by what they've done & presented thus far. Nor ruling out other explanations, such as happenstance, or my joke psychics. And that's the issue, & the arrogance of this individual doesn't help matters any. Especially given this seems to be their pet argument. If they haven't learned after literal years of trying this to multiple hosts, & getting nowhere, it may be time to just stop talking their calls in my opinion. I think it's self evident this guy has nothing substantive, informative or productive to offer.

Can this guy demonstrate that the Seven day week is used in any other system in the universe?

Can't waste any more time listening to the Seven-Day bozo.
Think he has short term memory loss. Pops up now and then saying the same stupid shit.
Maybe the worst caller, especially because he trots out the same nonsense over and over and over again, over the course of *years*.
Please stop taking the calls from. He's an absolute waste of time.
Hes been running this crap since late 2021. Please, enough.
