Greetings from California. Very informative video. Beautiful presentation. I am scheduled to visit Istanbul in Feb inshaAllah. I am very gratefull for your video. It help me to ease out some of the anxiety and info seeking. Thanks. 🙏❤🙏
Thank you for watching. In case the metro is not available, the other option is to use Havaist airport buses as these run 24/7. I haven't personally travelled on these, but you can easily google the schedule. Taxi is also an option a bit expensive, though.
Asalam brother very helpful vlgs regarding travel in Istanbul. Where can we get tram, metro, and ferry leaflets and their timming. Plz make more informative videos.
Wa Alaikum Salam, brother. Thank you for watching and appreciation. You can find the maps on the Internet. It is better to download the Istanbul transport map on mobile before travelling. If you google Istanbul rapid transit map or Istanbul Metro map, you will find it. InshAllah more videos are coming in the future, so stay connected 🙏🙏
Thank you for watching. I stayed in Hotel Vera, which is near Ayasofya Mosque in the Sultanahmet area. Reasonable middle range hotel. I booked through booking.com
Card one time scan karna hai kab next station main enter hon gey again nahi scan karna hai can you explain little bit more here nice video I will go Galata tower which stop should I exit
Aik dafa agar aap station say barrier cross kar kay bahar aa gaye tu aglay station mein enter honay kay liyay dubara touch karna paray gaa. Yani eik metro pay aap chahay first say last station tak safar karein tu aik dafa hi touch karna paray gaa. Laikin agar metro change karni hai jaisay M7 say M2 tu phir station say bahir aana parta hai. Galata tower kay nazdik tareen station Sishane hai.
balance.Valid for multiple users: On regular days, If you are traveling in a group or are on a family tour, you don't have to buy tickets for everyone. A single Istanbul transport card can be used for up to 5 passengers (however, we recommend using 1 for 3). After paying for the first passenger, wait a bit and then bring the card closer to the reader and repeat that for others.
As Salam alaykum brother zafar please clarify one more time if Sultan Ahmet station comes first before Taksim station or Taksim station is before Sultan Ahmet station? Another vlogger advised that to continue travelling in the M2 line and not get off at Taksim and continue to travel and get off at yenikapi station and then take T1 from there to Sultan Ahmet.. please advise.. Jazakallah khair 🙏 Also mention if there is a New line in operation connecting M11 with M2 without exiting the station?
Wa Alaikum Salam. If you follow the route I mentioned, then Taksim Square comes first. I learned that there have been some changes in the metro routes, so please follow the latest metro map, which you can find online. There are two airports in Istanbul so also check which airport other vlogger used. You can plan journey using below link if any confusion www.metro.istanbul/en/
Salam Alaykum brother Zafar, I will be travelling to Istanbul in August with my wife, do I need to buy just 1 Istanbul travel pass ? is 1 pass is enough for both of us? and what is the process if one card is enough for both? I mean do we need to swipe twice? Means after the first person enters through the booth then should I return the pass to the 2nd person for him to enter through the booth?? I shall be very grateful for your help 😊
Wa Alaikum Salam, brother. You both can use the same card. Up to 5 people can use it as per their website. You can touch the card and let the person cross the barrier and then go yourself afterwards touching it again. The crew at train stops are really helpful, and if you get any issue, they will help. You do not need to touch the card when leaving station. Hope this helps.

As Salam Alaykum Zafar Bhai, I need your one more assistance, if you can please guide which is the best ATM machine at Istanbul airport to withdraw TL and avoid service fee/ overseas conversion fee etc...🙏
Wa Alaikum Salam, brother. I got it from a currency exchange at the Istanbul airport. You will easily find it. But do not exchange much as rates are a bit high at airports and you will get a better rate when you reach the city. You will seldom need cash as credit/debit cards are accepted everywhere except may be small stalls.

I just googled it and it seems the Metro runs from 6:00 AM till midnight
Many Thanks. God Bless. @@SafaraurZafar
It would be more easy if you take ‘Hava bus’ from the basement of Airport.
Yes, the bus is also an option 👍

Kagithane or Gayrettepe ?
At that time, it was Kagithane, but now I have learned that there have been some changes. So kindly check the latest route before travel
how much does a taxi cost from airport to sultanahmet ?
Taxi is quite expensive and can be more than 1000 turkish lira. Depends upon type of taxi and time of the day, so price varies. But it is expensive.
Thank you very much brother
You are welcome 🙏
Is Metro open late night?
It operates from 6 in the morning to 11 or 12 at night
