Thanks Imran for the tips to Bursa. Just came from there. Some things have changed like: 1. Price of ferry from Eminonu to Mudanya via Budo ferry is now 155tl each way. 2. Note that the 1M Bus at Mudanya may charge you on the way to Emek. 3. To get to the main area we were told to get off at Sehrekustu Station and not at Osmangazi station. Btw you need to buy a metro card at Emek which will cost 50tl and then you have to top up separately.

I traveled to Bursa from Istanbul by bus around the same dates. Actually bus is good - I took a front seat and enjoyed panoramic view all way along, it was much better than the one from the ferry window which was same waterscape except when coming to Istanbul but you can enjoy those using regular ferries. I especially loved riding through Yavuz Selim bridge and Osman Gazi bridge, those are monumental buildings and the view is amazing! Bus price was very close to the ferrys' I don't remember which one was more expensive but I think it's a negligible amount.

Thank you! If you go into the Metro station, there’s a small shop there. The guy there once helped us out to get the card out of the machine which was opposite it as we couldn’t understand the on-screen instruction

Apologies for the late reply. I’m not so sure about Kadikoy. I’ve only ever been to the one from Eminonu. But you can go from Kadikoy to Eminonu if there’s no ferry that goes to Bursa from the former
Aslm , Imran. What would your suggestion be if I wanted to travel straight from Istanbul airport to Bursa. Would it be too tiresome after a long haul flight?
Walaikum Salam. I think it’s not a bad idea to go to Bursa straight from the airport as it may take more than an hour extra to reach rather than going to Istanbul. However you can go Istanbul and then travel via ferry the next day. Depends on your preference InshaAllah

Thank you for the kind comment! It takes 1 hour 45 minutes both ways. You can go early and come back in the evening but Bursa has a lot for you to see, so it depends on how much you want to explore
bro did you really used metro 2 times to reach to eminönü from taksim :) ? at 4:20 taksim and galata stays across the golden horn. if you walk from taksim to eminönü it would be same step numbers which you walked in stations :))))

Thank you 😊 yes they have an area where you can place all your luggage. I don't have one for the way back. The bus takes you directly to the metro station I showed in this video. I don't know if this buss goes back to the ferry port, but I don't see why it wouldn't go the opposite way if you know what I mean

Yes the bus from Bursa port was for Free and this took us to Emek Metro station directly and this is where you can buy the Bursa Cart from (we already had this from our previous trip) for around 10 Turkish Liras. And it cost between 3-4 Turkish Liras each time you use the Metro. For us, it cost 4 Turkish Liras to get to the Osman Gazi area, which was really cheap

Thank you! 1) There usually are escalators and/or lifts in most stations, but I can't remember for sure. 2) The Bursa ferry just has one stop, it will only stop at Bursa. 3) You can get the tickets in advance if you wish, but we got ours on the day (just allow yourself enough time to purchase the tickets before boarding). 4) I recommend booking hotel in the Osman Gazi area since all of the tourist attractions are easily accessible from there. Hope that helps.
So sorry for the late reply. Renting a car isn’t so difficult. You must have a credit card to make the hire so then it covers you for long distance travel

How late, early, and how often does the tram run? I have a layover in Istanbul but I don't arrive until around 8pm at night then have to be back at the airport by around 11am
I feel it’s pretty regular from my own experience and I know they are operating during the times you have mentioned. I can’t remember the distance in time between each tram, but I remember it to not be a long wait at all
I don't think they would have because I went on the same ferry in August to Bursa and then returned back to Eminonu from Bursa. You may have to just walk up to them as I've never booked with them through their website

No, the yellow bus is just outside the ferry once you reach Bursa. This bus takes you to the metro
