  • Today we’re talking about Sensory Processing, Eating Disorders, and Feeding Disorders in adults, adolescents and children.
In many cases, working with an Occupational Therapist who specializes in sensory integration can be very helpful for those struggling with food or feeding.

I keep looking for info on supporting people with EDs and autism, and just keep coming up short of finding actual ways to support them. considering sensory processing looks different for autistic people than it does for neurotypical people, this was really helpful.

This makes me feel like solving my sensory eating problems is possible. I’ve been trying to do better lately and I appreciate your approaches.

This is amazing info…I felt like you were speaking directly to me about my 20 yo daughter’s eating challenges, originally diagnosed as a straightforward eating disorder but is SPD based! You ladies are wonderful - need more of your videos!!!

In 1972 at lunch time, I was stood over by a teacher and MADE to eat rice pudding with prunes which had the stones still in. I was gagging my heart up but they made me keep going until I was violently ill. It's amazing the amount of knowledge we now have, and I'm so please that kids will never have to go through that trauma.

Thanks for this guys. Very informative and could help me well as I am starting my OT career again after a 10 year gap.I am now serving in community mental health. So any topics related to this area would be greatly appreciated.
