Today my brother has contact to the Environmental Police Officer about the news of releasing one Macaque long tail monkey (Janet) to her troop. They all come along way to accompany and to honor our nice job of caring our wild animals. Janet is crying upon she arrive her troop, she can see her home and smell her mom. She is crying call her mother. Just few minute, Jane mom is coming out from the forest, she is crying because she could heard the sound of her baby Janet. Jane mom can't not wait to meet her daughter, she keep running around and crying. This is very happy moment that mom and baby will meet each other again very soon.
We open the cage, Janet run fast and crying call her mom, Jane mom run to pick up her baby and climb up high tree. They both hug and talking to each other because of missing so long time. Very glad to see them reunion.
Also, one of the Chief of Environmental Officer has given us short speech about how to prevent and protect our wild animals and where should to contact related to all animals trafficking.
Everything went well and thank you to my brother, Sambo for good work, take care of Janet and my team cameraman for cooperation.

When baby monkeys hug their mothers like that is because they are scared or traumatized, but I am happy that the mother and the daughter monkey are reunited again. It shows how important that family are to these monkeys.
Mom is lipsmacking in joy...its like she's praying, "Thank you lord for bringing my child safely home to me"🤗

The way Jane , bursting with baby belly, bolted up that tree! I'm a grown man with tears in my eyes and an overwhelming feeling I can not convey with words. I prayed Janet would live past this ordeal but worried just as much about the mother -child bond being broken. I see , even though experts say they forget after a short time, that their bond is stronger than I imagined!!!!! Thank you to all who were a part of her care and recovery . Song, Songs brother, Bunneth, Socchun and of course Thy Buntha
The Defective Turtle ! Same here I didn’t know they would remember after that long and that their bond would be so strong. They missed each other so so much and you can tell that she loves her baby so much and Janet loves her mum dearly. So amazing to see primates so loving 💜😭

Her mom literally went crazy when she heard her daughter...it was like she was depressed but came alive! And once united, mom was thanking the men!

Glad to see mom and baby back together and glad that the people that rescued Janet helped her with her wounds. If they had not helped Janet she could have lost both hands.

I’m bawling!! I loved when Jane was the only monkey that ran out of the woods, she knew and all the monkeys knew it was Janet’s cry! That is amazing! And then to see how fast very pregnant Jane ran out of the forest and up that tree... scoop! Janet in mom’s arms without even pausing in her run!!! So special and wonderful!

sharon geraghty what happened to her hands? Was it a human trap made for capturing monkeys? Where was the trap and do you know who is responsible. I assume it was people trying to catch monkeys to traffic them.

Boy, Jane couldn't get to her baby fast enough...lol...the other monkey was in tree it was like out of way..I've got to get to my daughter...now with that being said...I know there were a lot of comments made by people that were negative.... Say they just whisk her away and took her to some chop shop of a vet....I knew this rescue was going to happen through inside sources...I kept try to tell everyone its going to be OK...they went through the proper paperwork ...and was being monitored by the proper authorities... Blah, blah ,blah...so please take a look at all the authorities standing there....and please have faith in the people trying to help these monkeys...like Sochhun who along with other VOS put this plan together... Now, we sure needed this happy ending after so much sadness the last few days!!! Thank Sochhun for all you do to help these monkeys and the team that was involved!!!

@@sweetlexii71 I can give you video after video where I tried to convince people that this rescue was done right...I knew it was going to happen before anyone one else did ...and was given permission to share the information...and I did...on several different channels... I knew the authorities were involved and the proper paperwork was done and that everything would be ok...it was up to Janet to heal at that point....but, trying to convince the masses was just like wasting my breath...I just want people to realize that all is not bad... especially when Sochhun is involved!! But, all in all it was a beautiful ending to a much needed reprieve of everything that's been happening in our little monkey world the last couple of weeks!!!😀🐒
Laura Tannehill I don't trust anymore because last year the way kaya, her sister and the suspicious death of her mother was never addressed. And the whole Heidi drama played out it was horrible. Good-hearted Vo’s reported things they knew and nothing happened to the people involved. Had I known the Cambodian Authorities were involved I might have felt differently. I am not sorry for my negative feelings because too many things have happened to these animals at the hands of man. People are greedy and don't care. I am happy to see a good ending. If you don't know about kaya and her sister look them up and watch the videos then you will understand.

@Scholes is Better than Gerrard There are many different species of macaques, but they all seem to share some common communication behaviors. ... Lip smacking is a social behavior that usually results in friendly interactions between monkeys in a social group. Often, a monkey will lip smack to a more dominant monkey as a sign of submission.
They were lip smacking because they were both happy to see one another. They were not showing submission to these men. There was no need, they were safely away from the men and when monkeys lip smack to show submission, they also crouch or shy away due to fear.
It's far more common that monkeys who are friendly with one another will lip smack to show the welcome interaction.
I'm not sure why you think you're an authority on this matter, but while lip smacking can be a show of submission to a higher ranking monkey, that is not even remotely what's happening here. Maybe learn a little humility and do your research before you go calling other people out. This time, you were wrong.
