Michael, I want you to be happier than anyone else and find your own mother with the same heart as you are now. It's nice to hear that you felt familiar with temperature and humidity for a short period of time in Korea. I felt sorry and sad watching the video because Korea couldn't take care of you warmly. I will pray that you meet your mom. And your American parents express a lot of love to you. I think they're the ones who made you exist today.

I came here in 1976 my b day is Sept 7,1967. I came from Korea from my father to my mother I only seen couple of times so in essence I didn't know her since than I've seen my father couple of times. I've always felt like an outsider looking in whatever group I belong to(school friends,army professional associates Evan though they're Koreans because I taught taekwondo). You made me tear up with watching this vid. I try to be positive and live life with a purpose and it's a struggle. Keep thinking positive and I hope you find your umma.
I understand this struggle. It happens different times throughout my life, and even still it is. Feeling alone, even when surrounded by people is a very hard emotion to understand and process. I hope you are able remember that you are valuable because you were created to be on this earth. You have purpose everyday, and it's okay to have some bad days too.
I really hope you find your relatives, especially your mom!

@@naksanbada Yes, I moved to Toronto in 2015, but have been visiting here since 2005. It's a beautiful and inclusive city that has a lot of different ethnicities, cultures, food, and celebration. If I had more time in 2019 I was going to go to Yangyang and surf. An acquaintance I met in Korea that helped with an interview I did with Naver has a cousin that owns a surf school there. I also hear it is beautiful! Thank you for making me excited to go back to Korea!

What about trying ancestry DNA tests in the U.S? 23andme, ancestry kinda tests. I once heard that one person did it and found her 2nd cousin in the U.S. Eventually, she could track her birth parents in Korea. Good luck!
Hello - I have done 23&me, and also uploaded my RAW data into a universal database that can house the raw data from multiple DNA testing companies. Just recently completed the forms for the NCRC as well. I appreciate your suggestions and support. It means a lot that you took the time to not only watch the video, but also comment. 입양된 가족이 진짜 부모같이 닮았네요. 모든인간은 정체성이 흔들립니다. 굳이 한국 가족을 찾는데 시간과 에너지 쓸 필요가 있을까요? 결혼도 하셨는데 가족에게 더 많이 시간을 쏟는게 현명할듯합니다.
입양됐나요? 만약 그렇지 않다면, 나는 네가 이해하기를 기대하지 않는다.
