I am from Chennai and I Bought Suzuki Intruder on February 2018. I loved the way it performs till date. I driven 3600Km. City mileage is 45-50 and Highway is 50-55. The mileage figure is true as I drive it as per the RPM levels given in User manual. Finally, I fill only Bharath petroleum SPEED petrol for my Intruder.
I'm also from chennai. I've Intruder SP FI variant.
May i know what is all about that petrol..
Your height? Are you comfortable over longer journeys over 100kms?
If the intruder is futuristic then i dont wanna go in the future....its just a huge box with a gixxer inside. I hv been a gixxer owner and its a fantastic bike but if u like gixxer then u shud buy gixxer why buy this huge box.

When I rode my friend's new Intruder, I feel Suzuki has ironed out the negatives of Gixxer. Suspension felt medium soft and absorbed bumps nicely. The Wide seats of the Intruder felt so comfortable.
Gixxer is for those who needs a proper hooligan machine with superb handling.
Intruder is tamed more comfortable version of the same.
If someone doesn't mind the looks, I feel an Intruder will give you more comfortable motorcycle with the same Suzuki quality.

I drove avenger 220 cruise from gurgaon to vrindavan, 140 km non stop and back, 2 people with luggage, minimum 210 kgs, engine was super buttery smooth till 75km speed above 80 km speed there were vibrations, but overall awesome bike for all India trip. For single riding, it's value for money

Even though the Intruder might seem to pull ahead in this comparison, I would personally prefer the Avenger. The reason is simply in the looks. The Intruder is too bulky at the top, while the Avenger gets the looks just right. The Avenger looks classy and timeless, which would age well after 5 to 8 years from purchase, when I might be in my mid 30s. The intruder's super stylish and curved body doesn't age very well in my opinion.
Note: This is just my personal opinion and preference. There are people who might prefer the styling of the Intruder more.

I all ready buy Suzuki in 2000 and still working in good condition.from maintenance point of view Suzuki is much more batter than bajaj.bajaj has a power but after long term it will costyou more in form of maintenance. So Suzuki is batter option
intruder is just way too overpriced, better to buy the street 220
If I bought an intruder 150 it would only be to strip it of it's ugly bodywork and do a custom job on it...

I personally prefer the Avenger because I like it's minimalist design. I simply don't like the look of Intruder, though they say it looks "futuristic". The Intruder has better comfort and I guess that an important factor of a cruiser, but something about the Avenger pulls me towards it. I would choose Avenger over the Intruder, it's not just because of the price tag.

Check out the honda valkyrie. Suzuki intruder 150 is not a "150" version of the "Suzuki intruder M1800"
It is a rip-off of "Honda Valkyrie"
The body lining of seat & fuel tank of Suzuki intruder 150 is identical and very similar to Honda Valkyrie

And avenger has one negative point of concern , its the lack of rear disk , other than that the intruder is not even in the shore of AVENGER in terms of looks, performance, mileage and durability .

Law For All no it is not, front brake slides will mostly result in fall, but not for rear brake slide which is easily controllable. CBS without ABS is a joke.

Anmol Singh ever seen a cruiser with too much overdose of plastics. Suzuki needs a lot of research in design and they gave failed. Even seen Harley having ignition key placed on head. Please tell this dumb Suzuki about what a cruiser means.
