    Love my VX! Anyone that is on the heftier size like me that breaks new boards like it’s my job, I can’t recommend it enough.

    So this will replace the P2 decks? Maybe they should combine some VX decks and the PowerPly feature?

    • @alecchrz
      @alecchrz 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The issue is that it would cost like 80 per deck and manufacturing them would be super expensive for the company

    • @alecchrz
      @alecchrz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They also would probably last too long so the company wouldn't be selling as many boards

      VX plus power ply would be amazing. And yeah, seems like the successor to P2.

      We need this, only issue would be cost. Prolly like 87 plus for a deck of we could get a vx plus p2 deck

    Ordered Winkoski VX deck. Can you still screw deck rails / rib bones to the deck given the carbon fibre element? Will it affect the board in any way, shape or form?

      Sorry I can’t answer, but that’s a good question to know... maybe double sided tape to hold them on could work? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Should i get a powerply or a vx? Im debating on which one to get

    • @SkateWarehouse
      @SkateWarehouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Depends what you are wanting to achieve. According to Santa Cruz, VX is essentially a carbon fiber ply within the deck with less plies overall giving it a lighter feel with added durability. Poweply has inserts in the nose and tail making the board more chip resistant and longer lasting pop.

    The wheelbase in the 8.0 decks could be a bit shorter 🤷🏻‍♂️

    These were made for a bigger or taller guys that break decks and they give these boards to test to two smaller dudes.. lol we need Andrew brophy/Jamie foy size dudes or normal guys that stomp their tricks lol

    • @gonzo13ist
      @gonzo13ist 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael YT and more most people are saying they like the fact that you have different shapes to offer other than flight decks. So you offer another option to the flight deck shape. Love the graphics also.

    Did anyone like these? I’m sick of breaking boards I don’t feel confident landing on normal decks because they just snap even after losing 150 pounds they keep snapping and I’m getting sick of it and having to be to extra careful it’s holding me back.

      The reinforcement layers are super thin sheets of fiberglass carbon so it’s just as thin as a 5 ply
