This skips some "intricacies" in the process, for example, how in the heck does a person get those shims between the peg and frame of the peg? What's the trick? That's like asking me "how do I fly a plane to Chicago" and my response is "you point the plane towards Chicago, and you fly it there." Though that answer is (overall) correct, there's a little bit of information left out. Sometimes the simplest things are frustration.
Probably I'm a little too late for the party here, but in mine I hd to use only one shim on each peg. I assume that they include two in case you're using a peg with a thinner axle that needs additional shimming
I was never able to get mine to grip tight and not spin when I put my feet on them. tried the film they send with it, friction tape, etc. and nothing worked. Bought some Kuryakyn pegs and problem solved.
What is the diameter of the clamp? I got a chair that is to tall for my child and feet are hanging, so I was looking for solutions and I think was GOD who gave me the idea of using motorbike pegs in the legs of the chair. But I don't know anything about motorbikes and don't understand those measures what they mean. Are they for the opening of the clamp, it the opening adjustable from one measure to the other? Thanks

I bought theses pegs. Don't bother. Mine won't clamp tight enough to not move when you place your foot on them. And because of the tightening, I stripped the head of the bolt.

I suffered to put the first part, the foot peg to screw it properly
I will take it of. The small screws fell off in the forst ride. It fit the small bikes. Not harley or touring bikes
