Edith Piaf is considered a pioneer in what we call "chanson réaliste" in France, that kind of trembling voice and the way she rolls her r's, which was considered typically parisian at the time. Everybody I know was deeply moved by her performance, and even though I don't consider myself a hardcore fan of the art of drag, the fact that Céline chose to close an official ceremony where it was featured for the first time (that I know of) makes me proud of my country. Céline's songs are a go-to for drag performers so it all makes sense. And of course it's the performance of a lifetime. So proud of her. And of course very proud of Thomas Jolly for putting on such an intricate and cohesive show.

Pour Céline comme vous dites c'est la performance d'une vie. Bravo à Thomas Jolly pour cet accomplissement. A la ``revoyure`` (à la prochaine)c'est du vieux français qui était utilisé au Québec par les gens des régions dans les années 1940/1950. Salutations à vous.
