They don't care its all about control....
True
I was listening to a congressional meeting the other day. The things they mentioned threw me for a loop. They asked how much c02 is in our atmosphere? Everyone gave a number in the upper percentile. The answer was actually .04%. Vegetation actually needs .02% or more to flourish. I dont know how low they want it to go. If it gets to low plants will struggle to grow normally.
Just something interesting i thought i would share.
That is very interesting
I just received one of the last Rinehart systems from Dennis Kirk in chrome for my '18 Deluxe. Saw the handwriting on the wall. Appreciate your coverage on a multitude of subjects!
You are 100% about the trades, I’m a hvac here in the valley and I wrench on everything I own, thanks for the content
This type of thing has been coming for some time it manufacturers have ignored the regulations and stuck not for road use on tuning parts for the last 40 years knowing that virtually every part sold is going onto a bike that is ridden on the road. We have been getting away with it and the police have better things to do than check exhaust pipes for the relevant markings. Your EPA going for these manufacturers mirrors some of the things that have happened in Europe. Even in the UK where we a pretty lax compared to some countries regarding these requirements it has become noticeable the number of manufacturers that have either gone out of business or only supply road legal exhausts. The EPA are just doing their job so be prepared for more of this it isn’t going away.
No more tunes, no more gas stoves 🤷
I just heard a podcast on S&S testing facility for EPA. Everyone is redesigning their exhaust and having S&S approve it for EPA.
not a problem…..many owners just auger out the cat….
Fair
Once again I gave you thumbs up but no F150 into
HI
What happened to the ticket you got for speeding has to go to court?
Love that video from the motorcycle (ride) ❤
Thanks.
Loud things?? When I'm in my living room watching a movie thru headphones and mc or 2 goes by with pipes so loud I can't hear the movie....What's my recourse?
Remember a few years ago Harley Davidson had to pay a huge fine to the EPA for installing “off road use only” equipment after the sale. It is trickling down to the suppliers. It is about control and nothing to do with the environment, IMO. A lot of pipes sold are stamped for off road use only. Alas where is Liberty.
Country going down the crapper. I agree with others all about control. New York just banned gas stoves why
Thank you again for the content
I was told by Dynojet they had to discontinue Powervision due to EPA issue. But, you can still get them from FuelMoto.
I'm going to be so happy to have most of the bikes being electric, shizz is about to get wild
Nearly every pipe manufacturers gonna throw a cat in their high-performance stuff then at some point the EPA will mandate that you gotta have a cap and then you’ll be drilling it out
The future is looking bleak to say the least. I recommend becoming a member of the (sema action network), so we as the enthusiast's have a voice in government to help curb these epa over reach
I agree
Darn that sucks. I’m running TAB PREFERENCE with the Zombie Baffles. I’m ordering my Head Pipe tomorrow hope EPA aren’t hitting them yet. DON’T CALIFORNIA MY TEXAS.
Buy the new pipes and gut them.
Yep yep
Not new. EPA regs for vehicle emissions have been out there for awhile. As evidenced by what you’ve seen here, manufactures have been prepping their products to bring them into compliance and they’ve been bringing them to market over the last several months. Aftermarket tuning has been on the radar for vehicles for a few years. There’s been a lot discussed about the impact on diesels for a couple of years. I don’t think is a crackdown going after bikes. It’s just that bikes are vehicles too.
FWIW… the aftermarket tuners are being brought into compliance as well. I bought a tuner license for my RGS last year when some of the tuner manufactures started modifying their products or, like in the case of Techno Research, announcing that they were pulling out of the market.
Yeah I’m not a big fan, it’s causing a lot of concerns in the Powersports world especially as we have this huge government subsidized push to EV’s that will be 0% tunable.
My understanding is the EPA is dragging everyone down the CARB rat hole, and it isn't just bikes and there's no grandfathering. Cams, exhaust, tunes, deletes, etc. will be illegal, no modifications allowed. The V&H catalyst is high flow and provides slight back pressure, like the "lollipops" do, and theoretically increase low end power. They are fining and forcing deleted diesels to get back into OEM compliance, so I hear, nationwide.
This video is very disturbing if this is the future for aftermarket parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the EPA is starting to act like the mob they can just come in and force whatever they feel like enforcing and passing laws against us the motorcycle riders law abides citizens hardworking people this is unjust
100% sucks
Fact
Your government won’t be happy till everything is electric.
very true.
Sadly yes
I live in CA - I hate the EPA and California smog laws
Did you live in so cal in the 50s and 60s when it was so smoggy you couldn't see the San Gabriel mtns?
Sad. Wonder what little kids said they wanted to grow up and work for the EPA so I can crap all over somebody else’s fun.
I don’t think that’s a childhood aspiration unless the EPA is just full of a bunch of Greta Thunbergs
Just as V&H introduces the PCX shit 😏
I am assuming that is due to the regs
