One thing people forget about army officers salary is that they can live without using a penny of their salary as they get many free amenities from government so they almost save all their salary.
Even a junior commissioned officer ( person who isn't an officer) gets about 50k pension monthly, officers make up to 1.25lacs pm after retirement without doing a thing so i just want to say that don't think you will be just middle class you will have a decent upper middle class status and after retirement you can even earn much more in private jobs.😊😊😊😊
