Aside from their long list of accomplishments which you can easily track down on Wikipedia, I've had the pleasure of getting to know them as friends over the years. The one thing that impresses me the most is how much love and care they put into everything that they do from ice skating to their philanthropic work to their individual friendships. i personally believe that everyone can have such a strong bond with their sibling but i guess the reason why their bond is so strong is because they work together and spend a lot of time together, they don't do jumps and stuff in their dances but they still have to trust eachother. the needed trust and time they spend together probably made their bond this strong which is great.
@@vanillaryyjj yeah i agree. honestly me and my sibling were not as close at one point, but we were able to became really close. i dont have any pointers but i hope someone can read this and know that things aren't set in stone. its possible to become close even if you aren't right now or if it seems like things will never change.

Honestly I've always thought that Steven is so positive, kind and patient all the time,, and like you never see him upset or annoyed by anything. Which is why I was shocked to learn about his peeing on his friend's clothes incident. I was like this isn't our Steven, this is someone else 😅

Depends on the Area. Rich area is stocked. They KNOW better than to stock up on food that will expire. Poor areas, people buying shit load of supplies and letting it rot at home.

Really good to be reminded that this is more of a break than a retirement. Maia and Alex sparked my passion for skating and brought something really positive and powerful into my life because of it. As a woman who started to skate as an adult, I'll likely never be able to compete in dance, but Maia's exactly right - if you love it, you can see through the challenges, and you can see them as detours instead of roadblocks. Hope Maia's recovering well and that that they're both staying strong and healthy in this difficult, strange time for all of us, including the skating community.

It's part of our training as Asians. It's drilled into us by our grandfathers and fathers since the moment we were born. Our maternal figures, on the other hand, taught us the "side eye", "eye roll" and "the slaps".

I love how down to earth they were. I always got the impression that those who were that dedicated to their sport from childhood were intense people. But they seemed so chill and cool to hang out with.

ahh this was the episode i've been most excited for since i've seen any of the trailers. Definitely got emotional a couple times, been following their career for a long time now and so proud of what theyve overcome and accomplished. you guys should totally do a take steven ice skating episode, once it's safe again and maia's healthy again.

i literally gasped when i saw the thumbnail and title! i was always a fan of their skating tho i never looked up anything else about them. I love seeing a moment in their every day life, and seeing how cool and down to earth they are. i love their outlook on life, theyre honestly so inspiring

In quite a few way I'm hard to please when it comes to TH-cam videos. I have a fairly short attention span if it's not caught immediately. However this video was FANTASTIC.
