My apologies, I should have been more specific. At the venue I was at, the only available inputs were xlr, which I only had 1/4” cables. Which required me to use a DI to get there. In my home setup, I do use the trs to xlr cables. Thanks for pointing that out.

I like the interface here but Zoom did an incredible job with the new B6 and B2Four. Endless tones for bass.
Yes, zoom really stepped up on these new processors. It’s nice to have something as powerful as it is being specifically tailored to bass players.
I really like how straightforward and useful your videos are. I don’t have this product but it was nice to learn about it from a bass perspective.

Terry, you don't need a DI box with the mx5. the outputs are TRS. I use a TRS to XLR and set to line.
