- Temporary immersion bioreactors are used to grow plants faster than traditional tissue culture. In this series of videoes, we are experimenting using different plants to observe which ones are better to grow in temporary immersion bioreactors or traditional tissue culture.
We are Plant Cell Technology. We create innovative solutions for commercial and research plant tissue culture laboratories and growers.

Subscribed and commenting to say that yes, please do the diy bioreactors. Im eager to try making them myself.
Coming soon in the next couple of weeks!
Hi Francisco,
Here you have only one solenoid valve.
When it activated and with what pump.
Also, why there are three inputs/outputs and not only 2.
Hi Francisco, could you please explain with more details the connection of the solenoid in the system? Thanks
Hi there, very interesting, please where Ican get the supplies? Thanks
Can you give information about lighting you use? Kelvin, wattage flouracent or led? Which one you suggest?
TC plants don't require a lot of light. I'm using cheap LED shop lights from Amazon. 20 Watts, 2,200l lm, 6500 K. www.amazon.com/Barrina-Integrated-Fixture-Utility-Electric/dp/B07DNPL2VC/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-nc-drs1_0?crid=JT6G94GLYJ6M&cv_ct_cx=barrina+led+shop+light&dchild=1&keywords=barrina+led+shop+light&pd_rd_i=B07DNPL2VC&pd_rd_r=d1c1b2b1-1c46-4159-9055-5017881ee3e7&pd_rd_w=gReaX&pd_rd_wg=UpUbh&pf_rd_p=a64002b9-9c26-4361-b8a1-b0f5a4835670&pf_rd_r=JAJ760YXDVS24VQ590QV&psc=1&qid=1609779334&sprefix=barrina%2Caps%2C200&sr=1-1-38d0a374-3318-4625-ad92-b6761a63ecf6
Where can I purchase these bioreactors from? Thank you! Great video has been so helpful!
This is their website, I'll make a video on how to make DIY version. www.plantform.se/pub/
Hi, have you made the diy video for that?
DIY vid would be great
Thank for the awesome videos! May I ask what brand those racks are? They look really nice!
Need to ask Francisco about these. Will let you know when he responds. Thanks for your patience.
@@PlantCellTechnology Thank you so much! Loving your videos!
@@ctm75 Thanks! I've already sent your question to Francisco. I'll let you know as soon as he responds.
Hi my friend! I am new to following your videos and I think that you are excellent I like your professionalism. I have a request and I’m hoping you can help. In California Cannabis is legal. It would be great if you could go over a solution for growing the stems and leaves. And also a solution for growing the roots. This would be nice when you have limited space for making clones from mothers. The other option is possibly doing the video as hemp it seems that the mixtures are the same. I have to mixing designs and would be happy to send them to you if you’d like to do the video.
I'll make a video on Cannabis/hemp tissue culture in the future. It will take a while as it is not legal in Tennessee, and the permits to grow hemp may also take some time.
How about the mixtures using A tomato plant as the explant rather than temp for canvas?
Did you do a video on building TIB? I am trying to figure out how to do this myself now using bottles that I can recycle.
Designing your own TIB can be a messy, labor-intensive, and costly process. Why don't you give a try to Biocoupler TIB?
Thanks for the video! Do you have available the list of parts necessary to build the bio reactor?
I'm going to build one in the near future!
List component part of tibs reactor plase?
Please sir, I have research about this reactor. Please help me by giving me enough information about it
We have a better solution than this reactor, which is Biocoupler-the simplest temporary immersion bioreactor. If you want to try, check out this link: www.plantcelltechnology.com/biocoupler-tm-glass-set/
Is there any courses available for this to learn from you?
we are working on one!
Are you selling bioreactor container?
We have a Biocoupler (TM) temporary immersion reactor, which is one of the simplest TIB available so far.
If you are looking for that. check out this link: www.plantcelltechnology.com/biocoupler-tm/?_ga=2.150518710.1635719926.1648361640-137788240.1591809399
Where can someone buy these kits for the TIBS? I can't seem to find any like this..
Francisco purchased some items from a local store and some online. However, if you are interested in a temporary immersion bioreactor, why don't you give it a try to Biocoupler? It's the simplest TIB, taking less space in your lab, and is simple to operate. Check it out here: www.plantcelltechnology.com/biocoupler-glass-set/?_ga=2.225713242.1379241722.1711331365-654510305.1688485895
@@PlantCellTechnologyI’m certainly considering it. I just need to gather more information first. I need to better understand how they work, so I’m in information collecting phase! I am only in the lab 3 days a week, so I guess I’m a little concerned about the manual nature of the biocoupler and if the explants suffer or dry out with too much time. But like I said, I still have much to learn how these really work.
@@PlantCellTechnology I would consider the biocuplers you guys sell but they're very costly at over 27 usd per. Very convenient but hoping the cost per unit will be reduced in the future.
@@dragonsimon1 We totally understand your limitation. We often have giveaways and sales on our products, so never miss that, as it will be extremely useful for you. Do you follow us on Instagram? Generally, we post such news on Insta, Facebook, and Linkedin.
@@PlantCellTechnology yep been following you guys since the beginning! Hoping the next sale is soon 😁
Can we propagate rose in TIB?
TIB is mainly used for the multiplication of plants. So, you can establish it in tissue culture and multiply them in hundreds and thousands in the TIB system.
@@PlantCellTechnology
where to buy this technology and protocols
@@harishs2181 You can find some protocols over the internet. We also have blogs containing TC protocols of some plants, taken from a research paper. Here's the link: www.plantcelltechnology.com/blog/
एक बायोरीएक्टर पर्चेस करना है।
क्या कीमत है
We don't have the traditional bioreactor systems, however, we do have the simplest temporary immersion bioreactor )Biocoupler) used at the multiplication and rooting stage of tissue culture. If interested, learn more about its features and price here: www.plantcelltechnology.com/pct-store/
How buy air fillter at where ?
We will soon make a video on it!
What does a Bio Reactor do?
A bio reactor is a key component of tissue culture, supporting the growth of plants in its environment.
Most plants grow faster in a temporary immersion bioreactor than in traditional tissue culture. Up to 10x faster with some plants. Also, plants in temporary immersion bioreactors are easier to acclimate to soil as then are constantly breathing due to the oxygen exchange.
Hi Francisco,
I am interested in getting the list of parts to built my own Bioreactor.
Please update me.
Message sent on Messenger.
Thanks
