+Jonathan Reed There is, kinda, as it only matters for the ball. The player can dance around as much as they want, as long as the ball is moving forward, no matter how much (even 1 mm is enough if the ref can see it). Similarly, even a slight movement backwards by the ball results in a no goal.
+Sterak's Gage I watched the clip a few times to be sure and I don't think it hits the helmet. If you look closely you can see that it actually hits the back post instead. This is also why the ball goes to the back of the net without really touching the "middle flap", which doesn't usually reach all the way to the goal posts.
As far as I can see, no, it didn't. I won't say with full certainty since the angle of the video is not parallel to the goal. It does seem like the ref agrees though.

Well you can ofcourse have 7-7 games and 5-4 games in floorball as well. In other words, winning by one goal or going to overtime. So your point is invalid. However, they score more goals than other sports.

To all those wondering why anyone would play this instead of hockey, is that at least here in northern Europe we play this in schools a lot. It's a lot easier to grasp than hockey and doesn't require nearly as much equipment. Then, after spending your entire childhood playing this many kids decide to take it up as a proper hobby, and then when enough people do that the adults' elite leagues are bound to become reality.
So do the goalies have to play from their knee's? As a soccer goalie and at times a hockey goalie I just can't understand why they would put themselves at such a disadvantage so early

apparently there’s no rules in “floorball” shootouts. We called it floor hockey and the goalie got full gear pads cloves and a stick it was fun as hell we played daily back in the day

Number 1 was pretty underwhelming after watching the other goals.

All these butthurt hockey kids.. I can tell you some good things about floorball. 1. All you need is shoes, stick, and maybe a pair of glasses if you wanna protect your eyes. In hockey all these things that you have to keep on your body is so freaking expensive. 2. It's a very fast sport wich means there's alot of goals. 3. You're not in a hall full of ice. So the people looking at the game and the players themself won't be cold :D I have nothing against hockey but there's just so many people being like "Is this even a sport? In my elementary school here in Finland one hockey player and one floorball player fighted that which sport is for cowards. The hockey player said that in floorball you dont tackle and if you touch the player a bit, he starts to cry and you get a penalty. The floorball player said that hockey is more for cowards because in hockey you use "armor protection"

As a floorball player myself, this game is MARVELOUS and for people who wants to play ice hockey but doesn't know how to skate.
This sport looks insane, i gotta see if there are summer programs for this in my area. Looks like great off season practice for hockey.

Cheapest maybe around 15€ and most expensives around 160€
@eetu847 I am kinda late here but the price ranges anywhere from 10$ to 400$. Most expensive stick I saw was 360$.
