- The Naze32 was a great board and still is. The addition of the SP (Seriously Pro) Racing F3 made it even better. In this video, I show you how to do the complete installation and setup to get it in the air. In future videos I will show you how to install bluetooth, adjust settings with a tablet or your phone, adjust PID settings and more.

Once again you have helped me out. I seen another video showing how to put the satellite to this fc but was still hesitant but I am not now after watching you do it. I am going to continue with my quad build this afternoon after work. Thanks heaps.

Hey i just recently watched all of your T-maxx project videos and i know you said you were going to sell your T-maxx but i don't remember you saying anything about the rustler you got with the T-maxx. I would love for you to do the same type of videos you did for your T-maxx but with the rustler. I know you're mainly an airplane channel but i think the rc cars will bring adversity and more viewers to your channel. Loved your T-maxx vids and your dedication, keep it up!

I think that even at this time, SP Racing F3 Deluxe is one of the more successful FC. Because I like old school and I don't like wasting things I used dusty SP racing3 :) for the construction of freestyle 250 with the rest based on the GEP TX5 Chimp frame.
Such an addition on my part:
Because the Sp3 board is set for me 180 degrees in the other direction than on the film at 30:30 is the settings I had to do;
Yaw 90 degrees (Board)
and change in settings Gyro, Accel, Mag to 270 degrees (alignment)

Great video. Nice, clear and succinct. I can't get mine to connect to Cleanflight through USB unless i plug the battery in. Do you think this is a faulty board or do i need to flash new firmware? Thanks.
Thanks for that super quick response, I did have to turn on motor stop, sadly though, it still won't connect without the battery.
The PC beeps when I plug in USB, but don't get any light on the naze board. Then seems fine when the battery gets connected.

Yeah I am a tinkerer, and don't like mysteries! No Ihaven't tried that, but have another 10DOG full and it's ok, this one is a 6. Could it be some rogue short or solder joint maybe?

Great video. I am using a frsky xsr receiver. Can you advise how to connect this to this fc? I am asking as you say you may need to use both sides of the board.

Hello, I m kind a new in this and I have a question. This board work with 5V and my last one (CC3D) with 12V. my question come with the ESC, you only got 5V on the 1 to 8 output. does it change anything for the ESC ? With my old setup they were powered by the output with 12V.

Nice video, but see the board alignment, all I do with my spracing f3 boards I just set the yaw axis to -90°, that works just fine.
Strange, I've done what I said to 3 different SPRacing f3 boards in the last couple months with no problems at all.
I'm using Betaflight on mine though, not cleanflight

If I use the pre wired plugs can I bypass soldering the pins? I'm brand new to building and installing these and if I can skip soldering the pins it would save me a lot of grief.
If it has a header to plug in to, I wouldn't see why not. I would put a little dab of hot glue on the plug end to keep it from coming off in flight just to be safe. www.Rc-Help.com
Do you have to connect the boot loader pin when installing firmware for the first time. Some videos do some dont.
Hi, once I connect motors to the SP racing F3 . Motor is not responding to the control from radio and clean flight also does the same.
Have you calibrated your ESC's? And are you 100% sure your throttle is on the correct channel? www.Rc-Help.com
I bought the F3 flight controller Deluxe 10 DOF for multirotor racing. There are trouble shooting codes coming on there are 4 long red lights then a bunch of fast one could you tell me what’s wrong please!

Are the pin layouts the same on the f4 evo and the f3 evo? Had an f4 for a while now but needing a detailed guide yo set up in sbus. Can I just follow the f3 evo guide you done to setup my f4?

Hi thanks for response. Iv tried everything. When I go to motors on betaflight. I pull up the master. And on the screen the motors show as if there going up. But the motors do not spin up. Plus there's a beep wen i arm it ???
Ok. Sub trimmed throttle as low as I can. Went back to motors tab still nothing. But when I flick the arm switch all of the motors go up to 1503 but no motors spin up
can i have a copy paste of you cleanflight back up so i can just paste it into my cleanflight restore
Is there a downside of the 'clone' boards? Wish I would have watched this before ordering the board. lol 😅
Yes, there is. Some of them change the traces or legs on the main chip which can reduce the frequency of the updates. Others use the cheapest products available like gyro sensors and such. Name Brand boards use mostly higher end components, and if a board has a bad trace, they toss that board in the trash. Way more QC on the name brands.

Hi there ! It's been a week I'm trying to connect my SP racing F3 on my mac, using cleanflight. When I try to flash the firmware I still have "communication with bootloader failed". I tried with three different cables and finally buy one to be sure. I tried to jumper the boot pins, I installed every driver I found (SiLabsUSBDriverDisk, FTDIUSBSerialDriver). Still, I didn't found any STM32 driver for OS X, neither a OS x version of Zadig. Whatever I do I still get this "communication with bootloader failed". My mac is running Sierra 10.12.4. When I connect the SP F3, two ports appear : "/dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART" and "/dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART". I'm trying to flash v2.0.5.
Please, would you have some advice ? I watched every single video, read every single tut. Maybe asking is the right solution now :)

My one only display CLI and it says "updgrade to the latest firmware". I have tried beta flight and it does not connect any more. I can put it back to "Sp racing f3" V1.9.0 and connect to CLI only. I am new in this hobby. Any idea what would be the correct choice.
I got stuck on this. Close Cleanflight, open it again and make sure it's disconnected. You will have the option on the left side for "Flash Firmware"
Iv figured out wats wrong but don't no how to fix. On receiver page. Aux 4 is my arm switch. Values is 932-1891 when switch is down. So the value is too high when I arm it. How do I fix that??
That's way iv been doing. I can move the sliders anywhere. But as for the value of it. It only goes so far . So it limits me to certain amounts.

I never did. I have a GPS in a box somewhere, but never felt the need to install it. I don't really know where it is now, it's been so long lol.

Craig chivers get I had the same beeping problem I switched to betaflight and it stopped. then I went to cli type delete. then reflash with cleanflight.

Nope. Changed the modes. Still no luck. When I arm it on motor page it stays at 1000 now. But when I pull master up still no spin of motors

Why didn't you just type in -90 instead of 270?.. -90 works too... just curious

Showing how to connect a D4R-ii as well as a spectrum would've been a heap better. Just doing spectrum you chopped out half your audience. Anyway I'm guessing it will be the same as a Rev5/6 Naze32 regardless
