Thank you for your advice because I'm decided and nervous to get this course but when i saw your content i truly amaze on how you convey to us your message. Thank you for your informative and knowledgeable explaination. So I'm ready to take this course because as students im wanted to convey message to the people that i surrounded. I know this course gives me a pressure because a lot of writings and public speaking involved in Mass Communication. I hope that i will had to overcome this upcoming challenges. Again thank you so much po 😊❤️
It's all about passion in Mass Communication.. if it's you're passion, go! if it's for salary.. it's a big NO! But I'm still greatful that once in my life I became a Broadcaster and Journalist. 3 years and 6 months to be exact. Dumadating lang talaga tayo sa punto ng buhay natin na mas pipiliin ang career na mayroong mas magandang sahod. (From media to health care worker ♥️)
Just to add, you can get decent money if you go to the field of Advertising, Marketing, or Public Relations. Research also can give you "kaching-kaching!" 😅😂
I trust in your video po ate❤️ I love the course but I'm scared of the saying that I might not get a better job. I'm still going to pursue this because of your Video. May God Bless U po❤️❤️
Recently I am thinking of going back to study part time degree as a working adult. So I have two options which are English major and mass comm major. I wonder which is more useful. I am using some of my saving funds to pay off the loan so I gotta be careful of what I choose
I hope na ma notice po , Still undecided po ako if I take bsba marketing or masscom , gusto ko po tlaga mahasa yung public speaking ko and I'm into business din pero sobrang mahiyain po ako kaya iniisip ko din po if I take this course (masscom) .
Come Theresians and acclaim St. Teresa's glorious name 🎶🎵 I'm also a proud alumna of STC. 😁 We have a similar story, Yen. I took up Medical Technology because Papa wanted me to be a doctor. And it was one of the courses that matched my skills and aptitude when I took the College Assessment Test. But even if you have the brain for the course, if you don't have the heart for it, you won't succeed. Studying was a pain. The only one that kept me going was the company if my fun classmates @ Velez college. After 2 years, I was done and so I quit. My heart was in Fine Arts but Papa did not allow me to pursue it because according him, Fine Arts grads work as painters of the street signs and partitions. Hahahaha. So wrong! So we compromised by me taking Commerce. So off I went to use the calculator instead of the microscope. 🔣 But you my dear, were destined to hold a microphone as you make your star shine brighter and brighter. 🎤🌟
Ate I'm an upcoming first year and I'm still confused on what college course I should take. My forte is public speaking and currently I got my eyes set for bsba marketing since I like marketing and when i saw your vid you're working as a marketing officer so should I just take mass comm instead since there's a possibility of me becoming a marketing officer?
Yup, kapag school mo talaga is purong english yung tipong recite kailangan english.
I need help I am a scholarship program when they ask about d subject am seeing different options like English, social studies and media...,media am confused am not seeing mass communication
Good day ma'am, do you have any advice po para sa mga mag-iinternship at mga may balak na magpart time job? What kind of jobs we should take po? thank uu
Hi Lydia! Sorry for being a month late with my reply but I hope this still helps hehe In our school, mass communication has been divided between media and corporate. Media for journalism side and corporate for business side. However, common foundation subjects lean on basics and ethics of communication. Hope this helps! :)
Hi! Yes, I know of a few however you should consider multi-media arts if you really are looking into learning the technical sides of being a camera person. :)
Hi Yaina! If you mean tuition fee, I’d say it’s not as expensive as other courses. However, it depends on the school too. When it comes to other miscellaneous expenses, it’s not as pricey too, unless of course if your school requires you to have certain books and gadgets. In my case, our school did not require us to have specific books or gadgets. This really helped us save a lot. So yeah, I’d say Mass Comm is a course that’s quite pocket-friendly. :)
Hi Echa! Personally, I can’t say it’s easy but it’s not as hard as you’d think too. I thought the same when I started finding a job. In fact, the first one I applied to, I got rejected hehe Mass Comm is a very flexible course and so that alone is your edge. I was glad that the course I took was something that can take me to different industries. Whether you decide to go to business or the media side, you are on the right track. I suggest that the first job you take should have a similar job description as the internship that you enjoyed doing. That way, it’s an easier transition from school to work and you will have fun throughout the learning process. When you are a fresh grad, show to the hiring company that you are an eager learner. However, when you start looking for a job after graduating, know that your main goal is EXPERIENCE, the salary is just 2nd hehe The experience you get on your first job will help carve your career so make sure you gain as much experience on your first job as you can. Hope this helps. :)
