I think the name Taser is there because this team can stunlock most non boss enemies. XQ and Beidou burst have very high poise damage, so they will guarantee break enemies' poise. And with EC doing damage constantly, they cannot recover their poise. So pretty much a Freeze team without actually freezing them.
I always understood Taser teams were using the combinatioin of anemo, hydro, and electro to trigger secondary reactions. i.e. swirling hydro and electro applies those elements, which creates Electro-charged using EM Sucrose as the trigger for both swirl AND electro-charged. If the team is only reacting with electro-charged but without the swirl, it's not actually Taser.
@@Agedude It's all of these combined. The game was too young for people to understand all the technicalities, so before poise and whatnot were known, people noticed that anemo+electro-charged = stunlock = taser
@@andreacristiano5452 bruh he wasn't around until after taser went through its real hayday and despite the 20-30 minute length it probably still took 10-12 hours to prepare as is
For Shatter Albedo, the damage of shatter is affected by the Physical Res of enemies, so stuff like the Superconduct reaction or Rosaria C6 (or both) is highly recommended, the Physical Res of most enemies is abnormally high. You can get 40k shatters every 2 seconds from Albedo’s skill.
@ That’s not something I’ve considered testing so I can’t say for sure, but I could see it being ok. If you like Dori, build full EM and go for it, but from a strength perspective, Dori just isn’t a powerful on-fielder imo, it’s really hard to justify using her in such a contested team slot over any other option. I really prefer Albedo if specifically trying to play a shatter team since he’s the only one that can focus on the reaction from off-field.
I was finally able to clear abyss with Chongyun, I did Hyperbloom Shatter and it worked! 31k each shatter and the freeze was useful against the beasts to stop them a little to do so much moving.

The Fluid Avatar of Lava and Consecrated Red Vulture has 70% pyro res while Scorching Loremaster has 60% pyro res when enhanced. So the improvement from Overload is reduced from what it can be.
Thanks for the remark at 3:01 of build only if you like. From experience, the Emblem domain will imprison you for months if you want that team 4 star Electrocharge team. Decent crit ratio and enough ER for an 80 cost burst for Xingqiu and Beidou is no joke for substats! With the amount of resin you need to dump into Emblem alone for those two, you could also have built an entire comfy high floor team like hyperbloom or Neuvilette+shield. Genshin Optimizer is still recommending I put Emblem pieces on my Tighnari and Alhaitham (and it was right: I clear Abyss faster on 2 piece emblem because my account’s artifacts are so unbalanced 😂)
I feel like you missed the main point of Sucrose being on taser teams. In addition to VV and buffing team EM, she also ends up taking ownership of a large number of Electro-Charge procs with her massive EM, and her Swirls/Electro-Charges end up being a very significant part of the team's damage here.

I've gotten a C3 Ororon while wishing (and losing my 50/50) for Chasca. While he's not amazing in terms of DPS and I do agree that Fischl and Beidou feel a lot stronger in Sucrose taser, one thing I've noticed is that the runs I do with him feel smoother than those whitout it. As someone who rarely uses defensive options like shields, the taunt on Dark Voices Echo is making my life much easier in the first side of this particular Abyss. So much in fact that I've gotten confident enough to completely forgo any defensive utility from the team. This has meant trying a very aggresive team of Ayato+Fischl+Ororon+Kazuha, wich is just vastly superior in terms of damage to the Sucrose alternatives with XQ. Definitely not for everyone, but very strong nonetheless.
I did notice it on chevreuse overload teams, yoimiya does a lot more dmg, I even use ororon on this team. With cinder city he does good buffing and his taunt allows to bypass the need for a shield for yoimiya, not to mention that overload also knocks ennemies back as well so it's even more confortable To me the main use for ororon is his jump and his taunt, and only the latter is useful in fights. With good investment he could do good dmg in electro charged but it seems fischl will always outclass him dmg-wise lol. He's a comfy pick
Im surprised you didnt try Fremenet in any of these, his c6 gets bonus damage from shatter and superconduct. and even his normal ult forces reactions..
The Neuv team I’ve been using and having a blast on is Furina, Ororon, and Raiden. Her skill allows Ororon’s bolts to proc the entire time Neuv is on field. May not be the strongest but it’s very satisfying!

getting the electro-charge buff made me unbelievably happy. and getting a character that actively wants it too???? hello???? yes???? I love heizou. to pieces. he was my first character to ever crown a skill, I love him so much. my personal favorite team was putting him on VV and having an electro-charge team behind him, all those numbers really scratch my brain in a good way. but I could never justify building the team for spiral abyss when ayato hyperbloom and wrio melt did so much better. but between ororon joining the team so quickly (my first wish on the banner was my baby ororon
I wanted to ask how is Ororon with Tartaglia ? I haven’t really seen anyone talk about those two in a team so far, my Tartaglia is C1 with Polar Star and my Ororon is C6 he gives 40% elemental Damage Bonus with the Cinder City set and a 30% attack buff is the team just not good enough ? Also what about sustainability I haven’t really seen any taser teams with healers
Btw the reason people came up with the "taser" name is because the EC does a lot of poise damage, so you both electrify and stun enemies, often from range (with sucrose) ... kinda like a taser gun
Was also a sizable increase to Quickload teams. They tend to build more EM than true overload teams and they can trigger plenty of overloads anyway. Fischl/Emilie/Dehya and pick one of Clorinde/Cyno was already a pretty good team and it was a reasonably big benefactory of the changes.
I run my taser team with heizou as the driver. With heizou you wont lose out damage as his E hits so hard and you are able to charge it up faster with all the swirl you are doing with xq, fischl and ororon. VV on heizou (go for cr, atk and em9, XQ with emblem, Fischl with golden, and ororon with natlan set. You can seitch up xq with noblesse
Electro charge really shines in multi-target, so this abyss is not the appropriate test. I also tested before and after the multiplier buffs, but used the multi-target arena Gangsheng hall. My conclusion is that the meta has definitely shifted with Neuvillette-Ororon-Kazuha-Furina now the best multi-target team in the game, even with a half built Ororon: fully EM-built Kazuha triggers his electrocharge and it absolutely nukes close groups of enemies. Even if you only have Fischl, this teams outperforms the Xilonen variant against multitarget.
My favourite Ororon team is with the Hyperbloom Core. Basically, Tazer Bloom. Since Ororon is built with Atk% and crit. His aggravate isn't horrible. Plus hyperbloom basically let Electro and deandro almost always constantly applied on the enemy. As long as you have enough hydro Ororon's passive will go bananas.
The buff was most noticeable to me on overvape teams. The extra damage from electro charge and overload on the same team added up to a pretty sizable DPS increase for me.
What about tartaglia taser? What's the ideal set up? (Teammates) And is it even slightly competitive to Childe International? (Which can do decent numbers but has poor set up, energy and is squishy AF).
I'm really disappointed that Ororon isn't a fischl upgrade in most electro-charged teams. Maybe he's better in larger multi-target scenarios and/or if the on-fielder doesn't NA like Neuv?
I tried testing out some teams that could work with superconduct as the main damaging reaction. I think I accidentally found a scuffed off meta team that kinda works in this abyss. Ayaka Kokomi Kazuha And kuki with full em. I found that kuki's rings proc the shatter that deals 30-36k and deal around 10-15k superconduct. Its probably not meta but I cleared the abyss with my ayaka with subpar artifacts.
Hoping iansan will be an overload dps in the future, would be cool. Edit-tested ororon with elegy c0 on kinich, dehya, ororon, bennett team, kinich hit 327k on his first big shot. Wtf.
I've seen the Albedo shatter team with Rosaria which may be one of the better ways to get Albedo's feet off the ground until Citlali comes out if she does in fact buff freeze and shatter like rumors say 🧡💙
@@the_real_tabby by reducing hydro and pyro res..... folks she's a pyro team buffer (that also enable melt-vape teams) Hoyo took "nation of pyro" too literally
its actually frustrating how she doesnt buff Cryo damage. Clearly, units performing freeze reactions are NOT hydro DPSes right now. All the hydro res buff does is help Vape teams or make Citlali an option for Neuvillette teams (for people who don't have Xilonen).
I've noticed a bit of an increase in my chongyun plunge team, where he shatters. This team has furina, xianyun, and was using Shenhe, but I recently replaced her with Xilonen. It's a fun team I mostly use for domain clears. Otherwise, my Clorinde, Chevruse, Fischl, and Xiangling team is doing much better. My Overload Yoimiya team has only slightly improved(with Chevruse, Fischl, and Bennet), but not as much as my Vape team improved when Xilonen was added instead of Kazuha(with Bennet and Yelan). Hope this helps.
For me. Ororon c2 and + better(sub dps with the Support natlan set) in overall team dmg than c6 Fischl so im glad i got his c6 and lost the 50/50😍 But what ever C6 Sara for hypercarries>Fischl and Ororon(still more fun than Fischl)
1:20 Taser in my mind has always been electrocharged with anemo driver. Childe fireworks is not "taser." Granted, I've never seen it formally defined, so it could just mean electrocharged, but then why wouldn't we just call it electrocharged?
I restarted genshin and got ororon and I tried out his electro charge and at lvl 40 with lvl 20 barbara he basically one shot the smaller enemies in AR 30+ LOL
yeah, i caught a "First Time Genshin" cc and they got Freminet very early (still in Mondstadt) and was just enjoying the easy killing of enemies ! (these newer units are obviously power-creeping for new players' journeys)
@@rrxphvel871 lucky him, i suppose getting a leg up to catch up with older players is sort of fair. i wonder who would join as a new player when we reach the end of Snezhnaya... 🤨
Jello wonders why electro-charged team is called taser team. Meanwhile me wondering why it's called forward / reverse vape / melt, why not call it hydro / pyro vape or pyro / cryo melt? Hydro vape: vape with hydro dmg vice versa. Pyro melt: melt with pyro dmg vice versa. I'm no new player but it will be confusing for new players who are not used to these naming conventions that are nowhere stated in the game.
Got C0 Ororon pretty quick...and then kept pulling until getting a couple Barbaras to C6 *her*. Miiight pull the trigger for Chasca, but otherwise, here's hoping Mauvika's four-stars aren't ones I need, now my pity's high~
I think using xilonen instead of kazuha on electrocharged teams was a weird choice, he would be much stronger there because of building for em and applying more element
Chevy buffs Pyro and Electro Damage, not Overload, that's why the Overload buff doesn't help it that much on Chevy team. Overload damage buff is a small portion of the team's damage. Superconduct debuffs enemy's physical resistance, their damage buff on the reaction does only small portion of that damage. It doesn't improve the debuffs.
31k/22k is a 40% increase, not "almost 30%". Also, you referred to what Xingiu and Beidou do as "defense reduction" multiple times. They provide DAMAGE reduction. I knew what you uou meant from context, but only because I already know what you were trying to say.
So, would this help Raiden-Bennet-Xianling-Kazu teams? C0 Raiden and Kazu. I don’t even know which characters you’d replace to get ororon to fit in. Maybe Xianlings and Kazu since he’d do similar things as Kazu with cinder city(idk how ororons kit works). I don’t even have ororon yet, cause I keep getting sucrose.
The damage of Raiden+Bennett+Xiangling without Xingqiu or Yelan would be low because you have no help from amplifying reactions (melt or vaporize) with Xiangling and C0 Raiden’s base damage is low compared to the newer units that powercrept her. It will still clear Abyss floor 11 but will struggle on 12 since they buffed the HP late into Sumeru. (I guess you could clear if your artifacts are amazing or have 5 star weapons, but with that investment, you might as well have used Pyro and Anemo only without the Raiden to clear faster and have a simpler setup.) The non Vaporize/Melt Bennett+Xiangling teams just use characters with much higher raw damage than Raiden. For example Kinich+Emilie who have massive raw Dendro damage and the burning is just to trigger their passives. Navia + other geo also works just because Navia’s raw damage is higher to make up for the fact she cannot trigger a damaging reaction. Also Ororon is an Electro+Hydro support, so why do you want him in a team with no hydro?
@ so, I have xingqui fully built, what I’m saying is should I switch out my team to have another team with him and raiden(like raiden, him, xinqui and kazu, or raiden, Bennet, him and xinqui). I can clear up to 6* in the 12th floor of the abyss(I switch to a Navia, Raiden, Bennet, kazu for one team and a mualani team). She can do 99k-167k damage, so not a lot, but a decent amount.
@Kazuha doesn’t help Navia who would usually be the highest source of damage on that team. Geo and Anemo don’t do anything with each other. The free Kachina would be better than Kazuha if you want Navia and Raiden together. She gives Cinder City buff to everyone and geo resonance buff to Navia. Raiden+Kachina would also give crystallize bullets to Navia. You may want to check guides for each of the characters you have to see team examples or look up team building guides. I think you’re confusing things by randomly mixing characters who are high up on tier lists or something like that without thinking which character helps which other characters on the team. Also Mualani (and any other hydro damage) is nerfed for this Abyss since the first enemy on the first half is resistant to hydro and the last enemy in the second half is immune to hydro. (I find hydro resist+immune weird since Neuvilette will be on banner next and will also underperform in this abyss.)
@@studiesinflux1304 well, I’m not going to get full 9 stars, and it’s mainly for Raiden as the main and navia as a swap. 6 out of the nine stars in the abyss is fine with me.
I wonder if we'll get a healer version of sucrose. I know xianyun is catalyst healer but she's more of a plunge buff than an em buffer. But with fischl and ororon it seems very enticing and then there's furina.

(Teammates)
And is it even slightly competitive to Childe International? (Which can do decent numbers but has poor set up, energy and is squishy AF).
Love that you showed times for runs! Keep doing that please!
isn't Taser specifically Electro-Charged plus on-field Anemo to swirl?
man, that's a lot of work
Chevy makes me happy whenever I use her because GUN🇺🇲🇺🇲🦅🦅
I'm really disappointed that Ororon isn't a fischl upgrade in most electro-charged teams.
Maybe he's better in larger multi-target scenarios and/or if the on-fielder doesn't NA like Neuv?
ar57, still no fischl
Ar 55, still no bennet😮💨
Ar 58, same
I rolled on baizu first banner, got 2 baizu, 0 fischl
I rolled on neuvi first banner, got 3 neuvi, 0 fischl
@@NicholasJohnson-o9l Fischl and Bennett rotate in the shop, y'all.
Im too lazy to save starglitter lmao
Ar60 here with no Chongyun, it be like that sometimes
Do you share your character builds? Your Clorinde annihilated those enemies.
Your videos are the best and only real content Genshin has
I tried testing out some teams that could work with superconduct as the main damaging reaction.
Citlali i believe buffs Freeze and melt.
@@the_real_tabby by reducing hydro and pyro res..... folks she's a pyro team buffer (that also enable melt-vape teams)
Hoyo took "nation of pyro" too literally
its actually frustrating how she doesnt buff Cryo damage. Clearly, units performing freeze reactions are NOT hydro DPSes right now. All the hydro res buff does is help Vape teams or make Citlali an option for Neuvillette teams (for people who don't have Xilonen).
Hell yeah been waiting for this one shouts out jello
"Albedo shat"
- Jello Impact, 2024
it's called shat-bedo team
Good info. Thank you!
Ororon, furina, kuki, ayato team was good in abyss tho...
For me. Ororon c2 and + better(sub dps with the Support natlan set) in overall team dmg than c6 Fischl so im glad i got his c6 and lost the 50/50😍
But what ever C6 Sara for hypercarries>Fischl and Ororon(still more fun than Fischl)
Fischl and Ororon together in an electrocharge team feels like having a super buffed Oz when Oz triggers Ororon passive.
I was amazed they didnt make Chasca EM scaling, she could of been a first who ran EM/EM/Crit, well besides a few stacked Kazuhas
Did the Theater buffs make a difference with the characters you tested?
SHATBEDO MENTIONED!!!!!
I have done 55 pulls got Chasca, C6ed Sucrose and Barbara but no Ororon. Should I keep pulling for Ororon or go for her weapon?
1:20 Taser in my mind has always been electrocharged with anemo driver. Childe fireworks is not "taser."
Granted, I've never seen it formally defined, so it could just mean electrocharged, but then why wouldn't we just call it electrocharged?
after watching the video im going to build ororan
Truly some Albedo creations with those shatter teams
Mavuika splash art is sooo pretty 💓💓🧡❤️🔥
I cleared this Abyss with Candace driving Electrocharged and it for sure felt far better.
Did Childe Taser become comparable to Childe International?
My ororon teaser(sort of an infinite burst team): Raiden c0, Xingqiu c6, ororon c0, Kazuha c0 or xilonen c0
Aw yeah baby, 5% more damage to hyperbloom
My clorinde team is Clorinde, Furina, Fischl, Jean. Best taser team for me. Specially because of Jean C2
Hope they buff old character's too .
@@binsarm9026My friend just started playing and he‘s zooming around the map with his chasca lmao, they don’t know the pain of stamina
Flip has won the Fischl vs Ororon bet.
Do you guys think c6 sethos best team is still hyperbloom? Or has something like taser taken that spot with the dmg buff?
Waiting for dis video pog
Is EM raiden better in overload? have her aat C0 and standard build with same teamp comp as yours
At C0, yes. Not only for overloaded but Hyperbloom and now Electro-charge.
I got Ororon c2 and I'm hopeful that he'll get even better with Mavuika and Citlali... I'll be sad if he doesn't synergies well with his granny 😢
Got C0 Ororon pretty quick...and then kept pulling until getting a couple Barbaras to C6 *her*. Miiight pull the trigger for Chasca, but otherwise, here's hoping Mauvika's four-stars aren't ones I need, now my pity's high~
Brother the way you say Ororon is comedy 😂😂😂
I think using xilonen instead of kazuha on electrocharged teams was a weird choice, he would be much stronger there because of building for em and applying more element
Guess my Cryo Characters will continue chilling on the bench
Chevy buffs Pyro and Electro Damage, not Overload, that's why the Overload buff doesn't help it that much on Chevy team. Overload damage buff is a small portion of the team's damage.
Superconduct debuffs enemy's physical resistance, their damage buff on the reaction does only small portion of that damage. It doesn't improve the debuffs.
Mavuika Bennet Cheverous Ororon may be a strong team with no overlaps with celestia killer comp
Replace Cheverous with Xilonen and you will get better performance without any reaction
@noahd531 xilonen is part of Celestia killer
31k/22k is a 40% increase, not "almost 30%". Also, you referred to what Xingiu and Beidou do as "defense reduction" multiple times. They provide DAMAGE reduction. I knew what you uou meant from context, but only because I already know what you were trying to say.
9:57 am I tripping, 22 to 31 is almost a 50% increase which is humongous, only 31 down to 22 would be a roughly 30% decrease no?
(I guess you could clear if your artifacts are amazing or have 5 star weapons, but with that investment, you might as well have used Pyro and Anemo only without the Raiden to clear faster and have a simpler setup.)
The non Vaporize/Melt Bennett+Xiangling teams just use characters with much higher raw damage than Raiden.
Have you considered the Imaginarium Theater buff?
At 1:53 he means DMG reduction, not DEF reduction.
I wonder if we'll get a healer version of sucrose. I know xianyun is catalyst healer but she's more of a plunge buff than an em buffer. But with fischl and ororon it seems very enticing and then there's furina.
Question, do i need to level chasca burst at all for any reason?
Full EM raiden (lvl 80) hitting 15k electrocharged reactions
