Thanks for the cover man, that was perfect. This song is really underrated, I'm not very fan of the acoustic version they release months ago, I hope one day they'll release a video or something for the album version.
Got into guitar from my stepdad when I was 11. Started on bass, switched to guitar only a few months later. I'm mostly self-taught, never taken a lesson, but I did take a music theory class once in high school. That's all the formal training I've ever had. Played in a couple bands in high school. A cover band and an original pop punk band (think Blink-182). I was only a fill-in for those guys when the full-time guitar player broke his arm. Played a few shows with them for a few months, had a blast. The actual guitar player eventually came back and I left and graduated. They ended up breaking up shortly after because we all started college and went our separate ways. But yeah, they actually were somewhat serious and trying to get signed but it never happened. Then the summer after I graduated high school I started this channel for fun and here I am lol. And yes, I'd also like to Root, that's one of my favorite Deftones songs. In fact, that whole album is something I might consider doing one day. We'll see. ;)
