I’m 63 years old. Grew up in the 70’s with bands like Zeppelin, The Stones, Aerosmith, etc. Seether, in my opinion , is one of the greatest bands EVER! My #1 for 20 years now! Keep writing, Shaun!

I was listening to this song with tears falling down my face. I was told my daddy died. If I had 5 more minutes with him I would have played him this song. Possibly we could have let go of our hurt from the past that pulled us apart. Thank you Seether for such a beautiful song. This will always remind me of my daddy.

I am still in a state of grief as I now watch my Mom lay hopelessly still and silent. It's her time, her turn too be going into the darkness end of life. She has stage 4 cancer. We still hear Dhaun sing this song but through a different lens of reality.
It now sets me free of guilt and agonizing pain of the death of my father who I miss every day. I am sharing my thought's on how we are born following how we all die one day. We will each have our time. The most perfect time of our lives. The day we are born, the day we die. Life is so perfectly presious.
Thank you Seether for this wildly simple beautiful song to touch our hearts. I pray each of us has a lifetime to fill ourselves with love and peace.

I know you guys probably never read these comments, but this song is my ultimate go to when I'm feeling alone and beaten down. I care of my grandfather, work a full time job as a medical assistant have a teenage son and husband. I carry everyone else's burdens and am always an ear for their own issues yet can't seem to find an ear to vent to so I've unfortunately learned to just put on a happy face and bury my fears and worries as far back as I can and stay quiet... I try so hard to find and make peace with my duties as a caretaker,an employee,a wife and a mother .. but it's difficult. And at times it truly feels like I'm backed in corner up against a wall and maybe I'll never find that inner peace ... But I keep moving on hoping I'll figure it out but for 3 minutes and 22 seconds I am able to find some tranquility when I listen to this song. So thanks SEETHER for a few moments of Peace!

I mean, to be fair, Seether isn't afraid to experiment and that's a mark of a band that has true confidence in their craft. Sometimes it turns out into Country Song (which I wouldn't say it bad, it has its pros) but then we get a weird song like Same Damn Life that totally kicks ass.

Can’t believe this record’s a year old already. This already gives me nostalgia for last summer. Quite possibly the best Seether album, and this is one of its best tracks. Btw, does anyone love “Take a minute” as much as I do? So brooding and creepy, and it has one of my favorite clean guitar riffs of all time in the Bridge.

This band has allowed me to delve deep into my own mentality throughout my life and pushed me through thick and thin an uncountable amount of times. New seether or old, they never seize to amaze and keep people goin.
Never have a seen a band who can do acoustic versions as well as Seether can, and it's nothing new, been doing it for years. Incredible stuff, this is why they top my list.

What an amazing song. Lost count how many times I've listened to it in the last two weeks. When he says the line "I can't seem to find the peace I've heard about. Am I not supposed to", that shit hits me hard. When you're able to find a song that feels like it's speaking only to you, and no one else, that's when you know you've found something special. That's what music is supposed to be. Not something you simply listen to, but something that moves you.
I love Seether. I remember playing save today for my dad right after we found out he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it brought tears to his eyes. He passed away a few months later with my mom following 14 months later. Seether's music got me through some of the hardest times in my life.
So glad to see seether still doing their thing! After all these years! Glad they are still alive and making music!

My brother and I sang Broken together in my mom's livingroom. That was one of the best memories before I lost him to an overdose. 3 years later and I still feel the weight of his absence every day. I'm changed as a person inside. He was the only person I could share new music with and he understood what I was trying to say through it. You guys gave him a measure of peace. You helped him in his darkest moments. Saying thank you will never be enough for what you've meant to us. From the bottom of my heart bless each of you and may you find peace and contentment all your days.

Saw seether in Newcastle last month and this song just sets off the memories of an awesome night. Not just with the gig but actually closing a the bar afterwards with these guys, doing shots and chatting about all sorts. They're so down down to earth and lovely. It was like catching up with long lost friends

This song and 10 years “Through the iris” are two songs I’ll never forget. I was constantly in the ER, admitting me in due to my excessive heart issues. I wasn’t even 19 yet and I was living my life as a 90 year old man. Couldn’t even go to the gym without my heart flaring out of control. It was like being rapidly punched in the chest rapidly. Eventually, had to pull out of college. Couldn’t see my friends or family. Sustaining a job was a struggle. Was also dealing with the stress of an abusive relationship. The heart issue also caused aura migraines where I would lose vision and motor control, and black out for hours. I thought for sure I was gonna have a stroke eventually and end up completely losing control of my body for life. All I wanted in those moments was to live, and i desperately wanted to find a purpose, and find peace in life quickly before my health issues took over and wouldn’t have that opportunity anymore. I was living in fear for my life constantly. I had so much to do, so much to see, and I almost lost it all. I remember constantly listening to this song and through the iris to calm my nerves, both the songs lyrics related word for word what I kept thinking about, bringing me to some happy place I could imagine in my head, while I went to sleep crying.
Thankfully, it’s been years since then. My health has improved, and I have a better outlook on life. I refuse to sacrifice the blessing I’ve been given, and I will not waste my life doing what I used to. That wake up call changed my life around completely, and I strive everyday to fulfill my actual dreams, to stay away from distractions and hedonistic lifestyles, to see the places I wanted to see, to do the things I really wanted to do, to never sacrifice my health for impulse decisions, to leave behind a legacy I prayed for in that hospital. Thank you seether, your music has impacted me so much in my darkest times, and I’m sure many other fans can say the same.

One of my favorite bands of all time. I can’t even describe how this band’s music touched me when I was in middle school and throughout high school. If I could find one band to thank for the emotions they have made me come in contact with through my darkest moments, it would be these guys. Their music has always been so raw and sincere. This song will always hold a place in my heart as a reminder of the pain we all go through is not always going to be crippling and the winner over ever thought you could have. Things will always turn up if you can believe in yourself long enough and keep pushing. Seether is truly a grace on this earth.

I just saw Seether in concert for the first time this past September at the House of Blues in Orlando. I was so excited to see them live and honestly that was the best show I've ever seen. Seether is my favorite band. I cried happy tears when I saw them. He has so much passion and heart felt lyrics filled with emotion. I felt honored to be able to watch his live show. That will always be one of the best days of my life.
